Cuba Gooding, Jr. Won't Face Charges for Bar-Shoving Incident

Frazer Harrison/Getty Images for Vanity Fair(NEW ORLEANS) -- Good news for Cuba Gooding, Jr.: he's officially off the hook after allegedly pushing a bartender early Tuesday morning in New Orleans.

The New Orleans City Attorney will not file criminal charges against the Oscar-winner, because the female bartender involved in the alleged incident did not want to press charges, according to TMZ.com. The actor was scheduled to appear in court Friday morning, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Gooding allegedly shoved a female bartender at a Bourbon Street establishment after becoming aggravated by a group of picture-seeking fans. When the bartender informed the actor that one her co-workers had called 911, he allegedly pushed her again and walked out of the bar.
