Madonna Reaches Out to Demi Moore

Jamie McCarthy/WireImage(NEW YORK) -- Madonna knows what it's like to date a much younger man, and what it's like to go through a marriage break-up, which is why she's reportedly reached out to her friend Demi Moore to offer her support.

Sources tell E! Online that after Madonna learned of Moore's recent hospitalization due to stress and exhaustion, she "told Demi she was there if she needs anything." The two stars, who both practice Kabbalah, aren't in regular contact but "they're pretty tight,” according to sources.

Most recently, Moore and Madonna were spotted chatting at a pre-Golden Globes party on Jan. 13 at West Hollywood's Soho House. E! reports that Moore's soon-to-be-ex, Ashton Kutcher, was also present, but gave the actress the cold shoulder. Prior to being hospitalized, sources tell E!, Moore was unsure about attending the Super Bowl to watch Madonna's half time show because she guessed Kutcher would also be there.

Demi Moore 911 Call: Actress 'Convulsing,' 'Smoked Something'

Theo Wargo/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- The newly released 911 call placed from Demi Moore's home on Monday night reveals that the 49-year-old actress was smoking something and was "convulsing," "semi conscious," and "burning up" before help arrived.

The heavily redacted tape reveals mass confusion at Moore's household on Monday night. "Sir, this is an emergency," a female caller says, before giving the dispatcher Moore's Beverly Hills address. She becomes increasingly panicked, saying, "We need an ambulance here as soon as possible, please."

"She smoked something, it's not marijuana, but it's similar to ... it's similar to incense and she seems to be having convulsions of some sort," the woman says, who identifies herself as a "friend" of the actress. She also says that Moore had been taking some "other stuff" recently but didn't know what it was and mentions that Moore has been having "issues."

Another woman tells the dispatcher that Moore is "burning up" and not breathing regularly but is able to squeeze her hand. At the end of the call, a man takes the phone to give the dispatcher directions to Moore's home and says that she's calmed down. "Now she's breathing fine and she's not convulsing," he says.

On Thursday, Moore reportedly returned home from the hospital. Multiple reports have stated that Moore's hospitalization was prompted by a seizure she suffered after inhaling nitrus oxide. Her rep has thus far declined to comment beyond her Tuesday statement that Moore is seeking treatment for stress and exhaustion.

The release of the 911 call is the latest setback for Moore. On Thursday night, her estranged husband Ashton Kutcher returned to L.A. from Brazil, where he had been shooting a fashion campaign. While Moore was being rushed to the hospital after suffering a reported seizure, Kutcher was out partying with Brazilian supermodels.

The difference in how they've handled their breakup couldn't be starker.

"What we see is Ashton moving on in his life. Demi? She's gone down, down, down," clinical psychologist Judy Kuriansky, better known from her radio show as Dr. Judy, told ABC News.

For Kuriansky, the difference is not surprising. "Women are the ones who suffer the most when there is a breakup. Men do suffer too, no question. But on balance, women end up suffering emotionally for longer, especially when there have been affairs," she said.

Kutcher, 33, has thus far remained mum -- including on his Twitter account -- about the plight of his ex. His rep did not respond to ABC News' request for comment.

Instead the images of him in Brazil -- leaving nightclubs late in the night, hanging with gorgeous Brazilian supermodels and "surfing" in the streets during a downpour -- speak louder than any words.

"It's shocking," Huffington Post entertainment columnist Rob Shuter told ABC News. "You don't need to run back, but you certainly don't need to be out drinking and partying. This is just a PR nightmare. At worse, it's heartless."

Since November, when Moore announced she was divorcing Kutcher amid reports of his infidelities, their paths have diverged. During red carpet appearances for the Lifetime movie Five, which she helped direct, and Margin Call, a small indie in which she has a juicy role, Moore appeared gaunt. Even she acknowledged the concerns about her weight in a recent interview for Harper's Bazaar, where she revealed having a love-hate relationship with her body as well as a fear of not being worthy of love.

"I would say what scares me is that I'm going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I'm really not lovable, that I'm not worthy of being loved. That there's something fundamentally wrong with me," she said.

While she headed to Hawaii for some solo soul-searching after her divorce announcement, Kutcher traipsed through Italy with two friends, including an attractive brunette he claimed was just a friend. Before that, he got cozy on the red carpet with co-star Lea Michele at the New York premiere of New Year's Eve. And, later, he revealed a new clean-cut look to TV critics, while promoting the new season of Two and Half Men. (He also played with his wedding ring throughout the news conference.)

Moore, on the other hand, just dropped out of her latest project, Lovelace, the Linda Lovelace biopic in which she had been cast as Gloria Steinem.

"She's the wronged woman, he's a young guy," Us Weekly senior editor Justin Ravitz told ABC News. "She's having a bit of crisis, not sure where to go from here, she's not at the top of her game, no tons of projects. He replaced Charlie Sheen in one of the most popular scripted shows in an almost seamless transition. He's still young and hot."

Since their breakup, the former couple has collided at least three times at Hollywood parties in December and January, including most recently during the Golden Globes' weekend. "They exchanged pleasantries but it was awkward," Ravitz said. "I wouldn't say they were catching up like old lovers."

In recent weeks, Moore has been seen out partying, including with eldest daughter Rumer Willis, Ravitz said. At Hollywood hot spot Beacher's Madhouse, she was seen dancing on a table surrounded by three guys, a source told Us Weekly.

"She's obviously acting out, dealing with insecurity and depression. She's almost regressing," Ravitz said.

"It requires a lot of self-care after a breakup," said psychiatrist Dr. Reef Karim, director of the Control Center in Beverly Hills. "If you're out partying and doing drugs, you're not taking care of your body that well. And someone who is 30 and partying can get away with it a little better than someone in their late 40s."

Psychologist Kuriansky is concerned Moore could be battling old demons.

"When you start out with major self-esteem issues, it can be very hard to overcome. Some big blow happens and you fall back to ground zero," she said.

But Huff Po's Shuter is optimistic Moore will be back on top. "Demi is Hollywood royalty," he said, adding that Kutcher would be smart to remember that. "In Hollywood, it's all team Demi."

Report: Demi Moore Leaves Hospital; Edited 911 Call to Be Released

Stephen Lovekin/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Demi Moore has been released from a California hospital after reportedly suffering a seizure on Monday.

E! News says it has confirmed that the 49-year-old actress is no longer receiving treatment at Sherman Oaks Hospital, though it's unclear when she was released.

There have been numerous reports that Moore was hospitalized Monday after suffering an apparent seizure, and that she has had problems with substance abuse and/or anorexia.  The official word from her rep has been that the Ghost star is seeking treatment for exhaustion due to the, "stresses in her life right now."

A recording of the 911 call that was placed prior to Moore's hospitalization will be released sometime Friday, according to the Los Angeles City Fire Department.  However, a Los Angeles City Attorney spokesperson says a "very specific but limited" segment of the call, pertaining to Moore's medical history as well as information regarding any substances she may have used, will be redacted.

TMZ.com has reported that she inhaled a dangerous amount of nitrous oxide referred to colloquially as a "whip-it."

A source tells E! News that Moore had been hosting a birthday party for a friend on Monday night and was acting "pretty hyper" before she suffered an apparent seizure.

Moore's estranged husband, Ashton Kutcher, has not publicly commented on her condition, but according to a People magazine source, he "is deeply concerned for Demi."  He has been in Brazil this week for a photo shoot, but he was expected to return to Los Angeles on Thursday.

Ashton Kutcher Mum Over Demi Moore’s Hospitalization

Charles Eshelman/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Ashton Kutcher has so far had nothing to say about his ex Demi Moore, who is currently seeking treatment for “stress” and “exhaustion” -- and possibly more -- after being rushed to a Los Angeles hospital Monday night.

The Two and a Half Men star is in Brazil doing a fashion shoot for the brand Colcci and has been seen out and about with multiple celebrities, including Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio. Thursday morning, TMZ posted a video of Kutcher leaving a nightclub Wednesday night. Asked by a photographer, “Is Demi okay?” the actor kept silent, piling into a waiting car with two people, including a blonde female.

Moore, 49, has checked into a treatment center, her publicist told ABC News on Tuesday in an email statement: “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”

She will also no longer be playing feminist Gloria Steinem in the upcoming Linda Lovelace biopic. “She is not doing the film,” her publicist said.

TMZ first reported that Moore was rushed to the hospital Monday night after a 911 call was placed from her Los Angeles home. She had been looking frail and tired since announcing her divorce from Kutcher late last year amid reports of his infidelity. Some reports say Moore's setback was caused in part by complications of anorexia.

Reports: Demi Moore Inhaled Nitrous Oxide, Is Battling Anorexia

Theo Wargo/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- There's more speculation that Demi Moore's health problems are related to substance abuse.

Her rep has said the 49-year-old actress is seeking treatment for exhaustion due to the, "stresses in her life right now." But TMZ.com claims that Moore was hospitalized Monday because she inhaled a dangerous amount of a type of nitrous oxide that's informally known as "whip-it."

A friend of Moore's reportedly told paramedics that Moore had an adverse reaction to the inhalant, slipped into semi-consciousness and experienced seizure-like symptoms.

A second source backs the seizure report, telling People magazine the actress, “was having what seemed like seizures,” and “concerned friends called 911.”

TMZ previously reported that Moore is seeking treatment for substance abuse.  It didn't mention which facility would treat her.

RadarOnline.com also claims Moore is battling substance abuse problems, but the website further reports that she is receiving treatment for an eating disorder, too.  Its source says, "Demi is in getting treated for anorexia, as well as other issues that caused her seizure."

A People magazine report states that one reason why Moore's marriage to Ashton Kutcher fell apart in the fall is that he was unhappy with her reported use of prescription drugs.

A source says, "He wanted her to take care of herself and get a hold of things, and she wouldn't."

The same report also says Moore's friends had growing concerns over her health, with one source saying that the actress, "wasn't sleeping as well, didn't seem to be eating and looked really gaunt."

Demi Moore Seeking Treatment for ‘Stress,’ ‘Exhaustion’

Theo Wargo/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Divorcing Ashton Kutcher seems to have been incredibly hard for Demi Moore. The 49-year-old actress has checked into a treatment center, her publicist told ABC News Tuesday in an email statement: “Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends.”

TMZ reported earlier Tuesday that Moore was rushed to the hospital Monday night after a 911 call was placed from her Los Angeles home. She had been looking frail and tired since announcing her divorce from Kuthcher late last year amid reports of his infidelity.

Moore revealed some of her fears and stresses to Harper's Bazaar in a recent interview. “What scares me the most is not knowing and accepting that just about everything is not in my control,” she said. “That makes me feel unsafe.”

Since splitting from Kutcher, Moore has vacationed solo in Hawaii and taken on new movie roles, including playing feminist Gloria Steinem in an upcoming film, though her rep now tells TMZ that Moore has dropped out of that project. Still, the actress who was previously married to actor Bruce Willis said her other fear is not having the courage to reach her full potential, which would mean not finding love again.

“I would say what scares me is that I’m going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I’m really not lovable, that I’m not worthy of being loved,” she said. “That there’s something fundamentally wrong with me.”

Demi Moore Reveals Her Biggest Fears and Guilty Pleasure

Theo Wargo/WireImage(NEW YORK) -- Demi Moore has stayed mostly silent in the months since she split from Ashton Kutcher amid rumors that he strayed during their six-year marriage, but she is holding back no longer.

The 49-year-old actress and mother of three girls opened up in the February issue of Harper’s Bazaar magazine, revealing her biggest fears, her guilty pleasures and what she wears or does not wear to bed.

“I prefer to sleep in the nude,” she tells her friend Amanda de Cadenet in a candid conversation published in the magazine to promote their new show, The Conversation, premiering this spring on Lifetime. Moore and de Cadenet serve as executive producers on the show, describing it as “alternative television.” It includes interviews with female A-listers like Lady Gaga and Gwyneth Paltrow, who talk about the challenges they face in their daily lives.

Continuing to talk about her body, Moore acknowledges she’s aware of the media buzz about her noticeably skinnier frame generated after reports of Kutcher’s cheating on her with a 23-year-old student, and she’s OK with it.

“I think I sit today in a place of greater acceptance of my body, and that includes not just my weight but all of the things that come with your changing body as you age to now experiencing my body as extremely thin -- thin in a way that I never imagined somebody would be saying to me, “You’re too thin, and you don’t look good,” she tells de Cadenet.

That does not mean the famously fit actress does not struggle with body issues, revealing she has a “love-hate relationship” with her body.

“When I’m at the greatest odds with my body, it’s usually because I feel my body’s betraying me, whether that’s been in the past, struggling with my weight and feeling that I couldn’t eat what I wanted to eat, or that I couldn’t get my body to do what I wanted it to do,” she says.

Moore announced her divorce from Kutcher, 33, in November, in a sharply worded public statement citing “certain values and vows” as a “woman, a mother and a wife” that led her to end their marriage amid reports of his infidelity.

While de Cadenet frankly admits in the interview that “infidelity scares me,” Moore stays mum, but uses that conversation thread to reveal her own biggest fears.

“What scares me the most is not knowing and accepting that just about everything is not in my control,” she says. “That makes me feel unsafe.”

Moore took control after her split from Kutcher by vacationing solo in Hawaii and taking on new movie roles, such as a planned stint playing Gloria Steinem in an upcoming biopic on porn star Linda Lovelace.

Still, the actress says her other fear is not having the courage to reach her full potential, which would mean not finding love again.

“I would say what scares me is that I’m going to ultimately find out at the end of my life that I’m really not lovable, that I’m not worthy of being loved.  That there’s something fundamentally wrong with me,” says Moore, who was previously married to actor Bruce Willis, the father of her three daughters.

Despite the personal strife and media attention, it’s not all challenges for Moore, who appears to take comfort in knowing that other people lead much different, not always better, lives than hers.

When asked to reveal her guilty pleasure. Moore says, “Watching Jersey Shore, because it’s such a train wreck. It’s excessive behavior being rewarded, which in truth is painful to watch, but you just can’t look away!”

The full interview appears in the February issue of Haper’s Bazaar, which hits newsstands Jan. 17.

Ashton Kutcher Roams Italy with New Girlfriend?

Charles Eshelman/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Us Weekly has published photographs of Ashton Kutcher with someone who could be his new girlfriend.  The Two and a Half Men star, who split from wife Demi Moore in November, was spotted sightseeing in Italy with screenwriter Lorene Scafaria.

A witness, Alex Thorpe, is quoted as saying the pair enjoyed a romantic lunch in Pisa on Christmas Eve, where they “held hands” while sharing spaghetti, which he paid for.

Scafaria was linked to The O.C. star Adam Brody until recently, but Us Weekly's sources say that she and Kutcher have been romantically involved since February, long before his official split from Moore.

Representatives for both Kutcher and Scafaria deny the story and tell Us Weekly, “They’re just friends.”

Ashton Kutcher Parties in Germany with Demi Moore Look-Alike

Charles Eshelman/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Ashton Kutcher has moved on from Demi Moore with a woman who looks suspiciously like Demi Moore.

Us Weekly reports that the Two and a Half Men star partied with the Moore look-alike and two other women at a Berlin, Germany, bar early Tuesday.

The magazine's source says Kutcher and the Moore doppelganger, "sat at the open window, talking, flirting, drinking red wine and smoking one cig after another."  Kutcher and the ladies then left together and headed to a private apartment.

Kutcher and Moore split last month after six years of marriage.
