Deion Sanders Ordered to Pay Pilar Sanders Legal Fees

Elsa/Getty Images(MCKINNEY, Texas) -- Football legend Deion Sanders has been ordered by a Texas court to pay his estranged wife Pilar Sanders $10,500 per month in child support for their three children and $275,000 to cover her legal fees.

Sanders learned in court Tuesday that despite the hefty monthly fee, he will not have to pay spousal support, according to Pilar was also ordered to return six containers of Deion’s property by July 1, the website reported.

Deion Sanders, 44, filed for divorce from Pilar, 38, in December after 13 years of marriage. The couple had continued to live together with their children in their sprawling mansion outside of Dallas, despite the divorce drama. Pilar reportedly has a home in Celina, Texas.

The two have reportedly worked out a schedule for visitations rights with their kids. A full custody hearing is scheduled for later this month.

A domestic dispute broke out between the couple on April 23 at the family’s $5.7 million Prosper, Texas, mansion that ended with Pilar being held in jail overnight on a misdemeanor assault charge and her husband cited, also for misdemeanor assault.

Texas State District Judge Ray Wheless last week ordered Pilar to stay 500 yards away from the family’s home and gave Deion temporary custody of the couple’s two sons and daughter, pending a full custody hearing. The judge also ordered that the children undergo psychological counseling.

Sanders, who became known as “Primetime” during his college and NFL days and was an icon in the Dallas area during his five seasons as a cornerback with the Cowboys, has frequently taken to Twitter as the bitter divorce has unraveled. He seemed contemplative in a recent posting.

“God is good Good is faithful God is who he says he is. Don’t ever doubt him. Truth,” he tweeted on Tuesday.

Lane Garrison Charged with Misdemeanor Battery

David Livingston/Getty Images for Sofitel(LOS ANGELES) -- Actor Lane Garrison was charged with one count of misdemeanor battery on Thursday for allegedly slapping his ex-girlfriend in the lobby of her Beverly Hills apartment on Saturday, according to the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office.

The charge comes after a witness came forward saying they witnessed the altercation between Ashley Mattingly and the former Prison Break star.  It also comes after Garrison maintained that surveillance footage of the incident was "misleading" and that the 31-year-old actor was simply trying to get his cellphone back.

Garrison will head to a Beverly Hills court on Friday to be arraigned.  He is currently being held without bail because this latest charge violates his parole.  The actor is on parole for a 2007 vehicular manslaughter conviction.

If convicted, Garrison faces up to one year in jail and a $2,000 fine.

Deion Sanders’ Children At Center of Domestic Dispute

Joe Robbins/Getty Images(COLLIN COUNTY, Texas) -- The children of former NFL hall of famer Deion Sanders reportedly saw their mother commit an act of domestic violence Monday night.

The former Dallas Cowboys star tweeted the incident: “Pray for me and my kids now! They just witnessed their mother and a friend jump me in my room. She’s going to jail n I’m pressing charges!”

Pilar Sanders, the estranged wife and mother, was booked in Collin County, Texas, Monday night for misdemeanor family violence, police said. Pilar was fined $264 for the incident.

While it is not clear what exactly happened on Monday night, Deion insists via Twitter that he did not fight back:  “Strength is not only based on what u can lift, push, pull, press, carry, hold or squat. Its also measured by WHAT U CAN WALK AWAY FROM! Truth.”

New York Daily news has posted pictures that Deion tweeted, which shows the Sanders boys signing papers in a group. The newspaper said Sanders tweeted the photos with the caption: “filling out police reports now! Thank God for this platform to issue the Truth.”  The photos and accompanied tweets have now disappeared from Deion’s twitter timeline.

The couple wed in 1999 and Deion filed for divorce last year.

Last month, Pilar filed a $200 million defamation lawsuit against her husband for calling her a “gold diggin’ h*e” on Twitter.  Deion defends himself against those allegations by insisting that he wasn’t lying and that his statement shouldn’t be considered libel if there was truth to his words.

Pilar has accused Deion of cheating on her with entertainment producer Tracey Edmonds.

Video Allegedly Shows Lane Garrison Slapping Ex-Girlfriend

David Livingston/Getty Images for Sofitel(LOS ANGELES) -- Lane Garrison, the former Prison Break actor who was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence over the weekend, was reportedly captured on video slapping his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Mattingly.

However, in a twist posted on TMZ early Tuesday morning, the actor reportedly told detectives the video actually exonerates him -- showing he wasn't slapping her, but trying to grab his cellphone back. has posted security camera footage that it says shows Garrison waiting outside Mattingly's Beverly Hills apartment building on Saturday.  They subsequently had an argument in and around an elevator inside the building, and it continued into the lobby.  There, Garrison reportedly grabbed Mattingly's arm and slapped her in the face.

TMZ reports that it also appears that Garrison tosses Mattingly's cellphone into the street before leaving the scene.

It's difficult to get a good look at the man's face for most of the video, in part because he is wearing a white cap.

Garrison's attorney had contended to TMZ that Garrison was at the apartment building to walk his acting coach's dog, and that Mattingly may have been intent on getting her ex arrested.

Garrison, who spent 18 months in prison for DUI and vehicular manslaughter in connection with a fatal car crash, is being held on $50,000 bail.

Speaking to TMZ on Monday, Mattingly alleged that Garrison has assaulted her in the past, including a few months ago.  She provided pictures to the website of her with marks on her body, allegedly caused by Garrison.

However, Garrison reportedly told detectives on the case that the video shows him not reaching out to strike the woman, but to grab his cellphone back from her.  He told cops she was trying to destroy evidence of "incriminating" texts she had sent to him.
