Donald Trump Mocks Rosie O’Donnell After Her Show Gets Cancelled

Mike Stobe/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Leave it to Donald Trump to rub salt in Rosie O’Donnell’s wounds.

The Donald couldn’t help but hide his glee over the news that O’Donnell’s talk show has been cancelled by Oprah Winfrey’s cable network. He tweeted Monday, “Rosie O’Donnell has failed again. Her ratings were abysmal and Oprah cancelled her on Friday night. When will media executives learn that Rosie just hasn’t got it.”

Trump and O’Donnell have had a longstanding feud that began in 2006, when she criticized the billionaire and Celebrity Apprentice honcho for not firing then-Miss USA Tara Conner, who was embroiled in scandal at the time. Trump owns the Miss USA pageant.

Donald Trump Tweeting About 'Obamacare' from Philbin Farewell?

ABC/Ida Mae Astute(NEW YORK) -- Donald Trump owns hotels, hosts a TV show, and occasionally almost runs for president. But Friday he took multi-tasking to a whole new level. While sitting in the audience of Live with Regis and Kelly for the final show in the long career of Regis Philbin, Trump sent a tweet from his account “@RealDonaldTrump.” Or at least there was a tweet sent from his account.

“Regardless of the USC’s ruling, ObamaCare can only be defeated politically. It must be legislatively repealed or America will go bankrupt,” the tweet said.

The message was posted to Trump’s Twitter page at 9:57am, at the very moment when Philbin was speaking on camera with his final thoughts on his career, and the show he was leaving behind. Trump was seated in the audience along with celebrities John McEnroe, Alan Alda, Tony Danza, and ABC’s Diane Sawyer, Katie Couric, Robin Roberts and Sam Champion.

During the show, the camera fell on Trump several times, but it wasn’t on him at the moment this tweet was sent. An ABC News producer in the audience didn't recall seeing Trump didn't leave his seat during the show, however, but it’s unclear if he was tweeting from the audience while Regis was saying goodbye -- or if the @RealDonaldTrump isn’t quite as real as advertised.

It should be noted many celebrities have others tweet for them.

Trump aides reached for comment said they didn't know the timing or genesis of the tweet in question.

At the event, Trump did have his political hat atop his oft-talked about hair, however. He told ABC News before the show that the changes in the GOP leaderboard have been "very surprising" and that it was  "amazing" to watch the candidates "going up and down like yo-yos." Trump added, "We'll see what happens, but anybody is better than what we have now."

Donald Trump Names 'The Celebrity Apprentice' On Live Finale

Mike Stobe/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Donald Trump named country star John Rich the champion of this season's Celebrity Apprentice during a live reveal Sunday night in New York City. Trump's decision came in the last seconds of a two-hour show.

In the last task assigned to the two finalists -- designing original ad campaigns for 7Up Retro -- Team Marlee and Team John Rich each ran into roadblocks, with Marlee Matlin's team tangled in a contract dispute with deep-voiced 1970's 7Up pitchman Jeffrey Holder, and John Rich dealing with static from Def Leppard's manager. Holder eventually showed up and Team Marlee's soda commercial was soon in the can. Def Leppard's sticking point -- the use of a kick drum to get the crowd going -- was settled as well, paving the way for the '80s icons to play Rich's launch event.

Team Marlee's presentation featured the debut of their commercial, which featured stock 1970s-outfitted characters and a performance for the soda company execs and others by the Harlem Globetrotters. Team John Rich's presentation featured an ad boasting appearance by former Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider. However, Rich's unveil event ran aground when he announced Def Leppard fifteen minutes before they agreed to play, leaving an empty stage and everyone -- including Trump -- waiting. Thinking on his feet, the country star grabbed his guitar and started playing, even improvising a song about the real estate mogul. The awkward gap successfully filled, Def Leppard took the stage and performed "Pour Some Sugar on Me" and "Rock of Ages."

Trump met with the soda company's execs, who told Trump both the disco-themed can designed by Team Marlee, and the '80s zebra-striped can John Rich's team created are being rolled out nationally. Both teams assembled in the boardroom and assessed one another's performance when, to Matlin's shock, John Rich made the surprising announcement he'd generated an additional $275,000 for the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at his final event, even though it wasn't a fundraising task.

The remainder of the show was dedicated to the live reveal. Matlin spoke about the barriers she overcame both in life as a hearing-impaired person, while Rich said his "body of work" on the show bested Matlin's.

Trump agreed with son Donald Jr. and daughter Ivanka that both finalists could not have performed better, and although there are no losers, he still needed to pick one winner -- and he chose John Rich.  The country singer not only earns bragging rights as Trump's latest Celebrity Apprentice, but also won a $250,000 check for his charity.

If Trump Runs for President, What Happens to 'Celebrity Apprentice'?

Bill Clark/Roll Call(NEW YORK) -- Donald Trump has teased that he'll announce during the finale of this season's Celebrity Apprentice whether he'll run for president.  And if his answer is yes, does that mean the show will go away?

NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt says the network is already working on a possible solution.

"We'll bring the show back," Greenblatt said via a conference call about the network's fall schedule.  "We will bring the show back and there will be somebody else sitting at the head of the boardroom table."

However, declares Greenblatt, "I'm still hoping we'll have Donald back in the seat."

Donald Trump to David Letterman: You're Fired, Too

Mike Stobe/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Donald Trump can cross another celebrity off his holiday card list.

Trump is firing back at David Letterman after the Late Show host said on the air that the Apprentice star's pursuit of President Obama's birth certificate has started to "smack of racism."

According to The New York Post, Trump canceled an upcoming appearance on Letterman's show with a letter that read, "I was disappointed to hear the statements...that I was a 'racist.'  In actuality, nothing could be further from the truth and there is nobody who is less of a racist than Donald Trump.  Based upon your statements, and despite the fact that we have always done so well together, especially in your ratings, I am canceling my May 18 appearance on your show."

The real estate mogul and potential presidential candidate continued, "Please inform your staff that I will likewise not do the 'Top Ten' list that they had been trying to set up."

Trump, whose recent questioning of Obama's birthplace and college grades has earned him criticism from celebrities like Robert De Niro and Jerry Seinfeld, said he'd only appear on The Late Show again if Dave is "ready to apologize."
