LeAnn Rimes Resents Being Called a Homewrecker

Jacob Andrzejczak/Getty Images for MGM Resorts International(LOS ANGELES) -- Though LeAnn Rimes‘ affair with Eddie Cibrian led to the end of two marriages, she resents being called a homewrecker.

“I’m like, can someone come up with anything like more, I don’t know, original?” she said in a tearful interview with E!’s Giuliana Rancic on Sunday. “Through all the hard stuff, there comes so much beauty on the other side if you just let it happen.”

Rimes, 30, and Cibrian, 39, fell in love in 2009 while filming the Lifetime movie Northern Lights.  At the time, Rimes was married to Dean Sheremet. Cibrian had two sons, Mason, 9, and Jake, 5, with his then-wife Brandi Glanville, who’s been feuding with Rimes on Twitter over the past few weeks.

“I had no idea what life was throwing me and I had no idea how to handle it,” Rimes said of meeting Cibrian. “But all I knew was I could not … we couldn’t stop connecting in some way. And it was the hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my life.”

While Rimes doesn’t regret what happened, she said, “I wish I handled it differently.”

“I wish it could’ve been better for me, for Brandi, for Dean, for Eddie and for everyone else,” she said. “I know in this situation it’s going to take some time, all I wish is that everyone that was hurt, that we hurt, that I hurt, can be happy.”

Cibrian briefly appeared in the interview and also said he has no regrets. He and Rimes married in 2011.

“You’ve got to sometimes fight for what you know eventually is going to be your truth and your happiness,” he said. “I’m a better father for everything that has happened. I’m a better friend. It’s been difficult but it’s, it’s definitely been worth it.”

In August, Rimes sought treatment for anxiety and stress. She told People she needed to, “emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be.”

Rimes and Glanville are still not on good terms. Last week, Glanville claimed that her 9-year-old son got sick after ingesting laxatives belonging Rimes. Rimes’ publicist fired back, telling ABC News that Glanville’s allegations are “threatening,” “mean-spirited” and untrue.

Nicki Minaj Won't Talk About Mariah, Won't Choose Sides in Election

Brad Barket/PictureGroup(NEW YORK) -- Nicki Minaj will be peeling back the layers for Nicki Minaj: My Truth, her trio of E! specials that kick off Sunday at 10:30 p.m ET.   Over the course of the shows, Nicki takes viewers inside her world and shows them private aspects of her work and her love life, and even opens up about her future on American Idol.

In an interview with USA Today, Nicki explains, "I'm not trying to have a facade.  I'm showing exactly what goes on in my life.  I think people will be surprised at seeing that."  Nicki's best guess is that people will be surprised by her honesty, but also inspired.  Nicki says the reality series is "inspirational for women who feel like they want to push more and get more done."

Nicki admits, though, that doing the series was a challenge. "I'm such a private person, it was a bit hard. When I'm around my circle, I just kind of loosen up," she says.  But by the end of the first episode, Nicki says she "didn't care the cameras were on."

When USA Today asked Nicki about her so-called feud with her fellow American Idol judge Mariah Carey, the interview was interrupted by her rep, who said, "Next question, please."  However, in a preview of the special, Nicki is seen saying, presumably in regards to Idol, "Ain't nobody gonna run me off that mother-f***ing show."

As for another face-off between two powerful individuals -- the presidential election on Tuesday -- Nicki refuses to take sides.  Though she's previously rapped pro-Mitt Romney lyrics and afterward exchanged tweets with President Obama, Nicki tells USA Today that she'd "rather not say" who she's voting for.

"I want my fans to research people and policy, not research their skin color, and think of this election in a broader way," she says, adding, "I'm not a fan of ridiculing people for who they're voting.  I'm a fan of being open-minded and everyone voting for whoever they want to vote for."

E! News' Guiliana Rancic Back at Work Following Breast Cancer Surgery

Dan MacMedan/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- E! News anchor Giuliana Rancic returned to work Tuesday after undergoing a successful double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery earlier this month in her battle against breast cancer.

She tweeted, "Back at work today since surgery. Excited to be on set of @ENews. I've missed my 2nd family (co-workers and you guys!!!) #thankful."

Rancic later told E! News, "Thankfully, I've been feeling better every single day since surgery and this weekend my doctors gave me the green light to get back to work."

She added, "Even though I moved a tad slower than usual today, everyone welcomed me back with open arms and it was a wonderful homecoming."

Rancic announced her breast cancer diagnosis in October.  She subsequently underwent a double lumpectomy that failed to completely eradicate the cancer in one breast.

Four More Kardashian Shows in the Works?

Scott Kirkland/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- "The more things change, the more things stay the same," says the old adage, which apparently will soon apply to E!.  The network is undergoing a major re-branding effort, from its logo inward, at the hands of NBCUniversal cable entertainment head Bonnie Hammer.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hammer -- who helped put the successful USA Network on the map -- is looking to similarly transform the entertainment channel, currently home to the hits Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Kim Take New York.

For those who might be hoping that a new E! will mean less of the Kardashian family, think again.  Hammer says she envisions, "two, three, even four new Kardashian [spinoffs],"including a pair from mom Kris Jenner's two youngest daughters Kendall, 14, and Kylie, 13 -- who are technically Jenners, not Kardashians, because they are Kris Jenner's kids with former Olympian Bruce Jenner, not hers with her former husband, the late celebrity lawyer Robert Kardashian.

As for the backlash over Kim Kardashian's 72 day wedding -- itself the grist of countless hours of E! programming -- Hammer insists, "This was not a stunt.  In no way did people believe that this was going to happen...I think true Kardashian fans know that a bigger than life mistake can be made easily in their world.  Everything they do is bigger than life...It's in their DNA."

Giuliana Rancic to Undergo Double Mastectomy

Dan MacMedan/WireImage(NEW YORK) -- E! News anchor Giuliana Rancic announced Monday on NBC's Today show that she will undergo a double mastectomy followed by reconstructive surgery next week.

The TV hostess, 37, revealed she had early-stage breast cancer in October and had a double lumpectomy later that month.  But her husband, Bill Rancic, said the couple learned during a subsequent doctor’s visit that the cancer didn’t completely clear out of one breast.

The couple has long struggled with infertility, and Giuliana revealed that that was a big part of her decision to have both her breasts removed.

Another reason for her decision, she said, was to decrease the risk of the cancer coming back.

Rancic also wants to send out a positive message to other women that instead of being something to be ashamed of, a mastectomy is a life-saving operation.

“When they first told me mastectomy was an option, I said, ‘Absolutely not. Absolutely not. I am 37 years old. I don’t want to do it’ because to me, the word was very scary and it meant I would be disfigured.”

But a close friend had the same operation, and she realized that women in that situation can be beautiful, healthy and positive, a message Rancic said is important for women.

Above all else, however, the couple said while not all women in Rancic’s situation may opt for a double mastectomy, it was the right decision for her.

Lady Gaga's Choreographer Gets Reality TV Show

Gary Miller / Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- At 17 years old, a Greyhound Bus dropped Laurieann Gibson off at the Port Authority Bus Terminal on 42nd Street in New York City. The 12-hour journey from Toronto, her hometown, made Gibson feel like a character in the movie Fame.

Today, she works side by side with her friend Lady Gaga. Just last week, Gibson choreographed Lady Gaga's music video "Judas," the second single from her album "Born This Way," to be released in May. She also directed the singer's upcoming HBO Monster Ball Tour special to air on May 7.

On April 10, The Dance Scene, a reality show about her life and work, as well as the search to find out if any of her proteges have what it takes to be the next big choreographer, will premiere on E!

At first, Gibson was apprehensive. She didn't want to be on TV just for the sake of being on TV, she said. She told Ryan Seacrest if she was going to star in a show, she wanted something that could reach the masses and give those who dreamed like her the hope to keep going.

With all the reality shows on TV today that aim to find the next star, Gibson said her show will be different.

"This is real life. This is for the dancer who was born and got on the Greyhound bus and got off at 42nd street," says Gibson. "We take away the gloss and we show you the real survival and the everyday disappointment."
