(LOS ANGELES) -- Former "Bachelorette" Emily Maynard is reportedly “angry” about not being invited to participate in the upcoming season of ABC's Dancing with the Stars.
The latest issue of Us Weekly quotes an insider as saying the 27-year-old single mom “desperately wanted” to participate in the ballroom show. The source adds that Maynard “badly wanted to be back in the spotlight."
Former Bachelor stars Melissa Rycroft and Jake Payelka both competed on Dancing with the Stars, with Rycroft winning the All-Star edition last November.
The upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars will feature singer Wynonna Judd, comedian D.L. Hughley, Lisa Vanderpump of Bravo's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, comedian Andy Dick, boxer Victor Ortiz, Disney Channel star Zendaya Coleman, Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman, actor Ingo Rademacher, singer Kellie Pickler, Olympic gold medalist Dorothy Hamill and NFL star Jacoby Jones.
A 12th celebrity participant will be revealed before the new DWTS season begins on Monday, March 18.
