Is Bobbi Kristina Really Engaged?

Lifetime(NEW YORK) -- Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only daughter of the late Whitney Houston, claims she's engaged to her adopted brother-turned-boyfriend Nick Gordon in a new clip of her upcoming reality show, The Houstons: On Our Own.

"We're engaged," Bobbi Kristina announces to her family, who meet the news with shocked faces. The one-minute trailer obtained by E! News shows the mid-meal declaration of love, but on Lifetime's website, the engagement reveal is missing from the thirty-second trailer posted there.

"Engagement? This is unacceptable," Bobbi Kris's aunt, Patricia Houston, says in the longer trailer.  Still, when asked by ABC News if the couple are indeed engaged, Pat replied, "You just have to watch the show."  Patricia Houston was Whitney's longtime manager and closest confidante.

Rumors of Bobbi Kristina and Nick's engagement have been swirling online for months, and picked up steam when Bobbi Kristina was seen wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring.  Bobbi Kristina's rep denied to People magazine that she was engaged, instead saying that the 19-year-old aspiring actress was wearing a ring that belonged to her late mother.

The Houstons: On Our Own, starring Whitney's brother Gary, his wife Patricia and Bobbi Kris, is a peek inside the lives of the pop icon's family and how they're coping with her death. Whitney fans will also get a glimpse of her mother, Cissy Houston, who makes appearances throughout the series and even reveals a rift between her and Bobbi Kristina.

The Houstons: On Our Own is set to premiere Oct. 24 at 9/8c on Lifetime.

Jennifer Lopez's 'Engagement Ring' Just Jewelry

Bryan Steffy/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Jennifer Lopez has been photographed in Paris wearing what appears to be an engagement ring, reports People

The singer has been dating her backup dancer Casper Smart for one year.  But a source tells the magazine that the jewelry is no more "than a pretty ring."

A second source claims that Lopez is not ready to say “I do” anytime soon, adding, "This ring could just be for their anniversary.  She's in the middle of her tour and her manager doesn't want her distracted.  He wants her to focus, and an engagement would distract her too much."

In fact, Lopez is not believed to be divorced yet from Marc Anthony.
