"Glee" Goes to Prom With One Direction, Ke$ha, Fergie & More

Mike Yarish/FOX(NEW YORK) -- Back in 1986, all the kids at prom were slow dancing to "Take My Breath Away," a love ballad by the group Berlin that was featured in the Tom Cruise flick Top Gun.  Well, some things never change, because on Tuesday's episode of Glee, it's prom night, and you'll see everyone dancing to "Take My Breath Away," as performed by Santana and Quinn.

But the episode, called "Prom-asauraus," features plenty of current songs as well.  Just as Glee covered The Wanted's "Glad You Came" a couple months ago, they're now taking on the hit song by that other British boy band.  That's right, New Directions is covering One Direction, as Mike, Rory, Sam, Joe and Artie sing "What Makes You Beautiful."

Other songs featured include Fergie's ballad "Big Girls Don't Cry," sung by Rachel and -- oddly -- Kurt and Blaine, as well as the Ke$ha song "Dinosaur," sung by Brittany to reflect the fact that, as class president, she wants a dinosaur theme for the prom.  Selena Gomez's "Love You Like a Love Song," sung by Santana and the Trouble Tones, completes the soundtrack for the episode.

In the episode, the kids campaign to be prom king and queen, while some of the outcasts organize a rival event.  It airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. on Fox.

Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus in the Mix to Judge "X Factor?"

Fox(LOS ANGELES) -- Though it hasn’t been confirmed, it looks likely that Britney Spears will be joining the X Factor judging panel, but there’s still one spot up for grabs. Now, reports claim that it could be filled by Demi Lovato or Miley Cyrus.

The Hollywood Reporter said Lovato is in “final negotiations” to fill the vacant judges’ slot on the Fox singing competition, which currently features Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and -- possibly -- Spears. The trade publication said the show wanted to hire a brunette. Meanwhile, a source told that “there have been talks with Miley” about joining the show. Others on the shortlist reportedly include “Black Eyed Peas” front woman Fergie and Avril Lavigne.

As for Spears, a source told Celebuzz, “Britney’s deal is not done, it’s close, but we are not that far ahead to be making a formal announcement.” It’s rumored that Spears will cash a $15 million paycheck for her trouble.

Michael Tran/FilmMagic(NEW YORK) -- Hey, if it's good enough for Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler, then it's good enough for Fergie.

The Blacked Eyed Peas singer tells The New York Post that she'd "love to get involved in judging a talent show like American Idol."  Fergie adds, "I could go for that 100 percent. I'm always judging myself, the band, other artists' music -- so it would be a natural."

The paper then called her on her honesty, asking her to reveal which member of the Black Eyed Peas has the biggest ego.  Her response: "How can you ask that?  Are you trying to get me in trouble with the guys?  We all have pretty big egos."

Fergie, Lea Michele Receive 'Billboard' Honors

Photo Courtesy - Interscope Records(NEW YORK) -- Fergie and Glee star Lea Michele were honored at Billboard magazine's fifth annual Women in Music bash Thursday in New York City, with Fergie receiving the magazine's prestigious Woman of the Year honor.  Michele received the magazine's first ever Triple Threat award, for her singing, dancing, and acting talents.

The Woman of the Year award is given each year to a "trailblazing" female recording artist who has "inspired the music business with her success, leadership, and new ideas."  Fergie told ABC News Radio that for her, the award was more of a culmination of her entire career, and not just a recognition of this past year.

She explained, "I think for me, it means celebrating all of the years that I put in, since I was seven years old in the business...and dreaming about's all those hours of work and jet lag and rehearsal...I feel like I finally made it!"

As for the Triple Threat Award, Billboard editorial director Bill Werde explained that the magazine created it because "Glee kind of rewrote the record books and our charts this year and we really wanted to figure out a way to incorporate that into an event like this."  Werde says Michele received the honor over another female cast member because she's "sung on seven of the top-ten-selling Glee songs" and "it just felt right."

Michele herself said of the honor: "I'm so thankful that they created this award and thought about me for it...I feel so honored."
