Tracy Morgan Responds to Report of Mom Facing Foreclosure

Andrew H. Walker/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Tracy Morgan refuses to engage in a public war of words with his family, following claims made by his sister that he hasn't done enough to support their mother, who could soon face foreclosure.

Morgan's 61-year-old mother, Alicia Warden, recently told the New York Daily News she owes nearly $25,000 on her home in northeast Ohio. Warden said she's been informed that foreclosure proceedings will begin on Feb. 23 if she does not make a minimum mortgage payment by then.

Warden said her son offered her two thousand dollars, but she turned him down. She explained to the Daily News, "I’m not some person in the street.”

Morgan's sister, Asia Morgan, argues that the 30 Rock star is in position to help out their mother, but hasn't come through. Pointing out that Warden is battling health issues, including diabetes, Asia Morgan told the Daily News, “This would be a drop in the bucket for Tracy. She has a son that can do, and she’s done everything that she could possibly could for her family.” She claimed that Morgan has "never been a nice person," and calls him a "d*****bag."

In a statement obtained by E! Online, Morgan says he is "saddened that these untrue stories about me have people questioning my commitment to my family." He continues, "For reasons that are between us, I have not seen my mother in 11 years and outside of a random call here and there have had little to no contact with my sister."

Morgan noted in his 2009 book I Am the New Black that he was estranged from most of his family, including his mother.

Chris Tucker Facing Foreclosure on Florida Mansion

Jed Jacobsohn/Getty Images(LAKE APOPKA, Fla.) -- Despite making tens of millions of dollars for appearing in the Rush Hour movies, actor and comedian Chris Tucker is facing foreclosure on his multi-million dollar Florida mansion, according to court papers filed earlier this week.

The star of the Rush Hour trilogy and the comedy Friday purchased the 10,000-square-foot lakefront home in 2007 for $6 million.  The hefty home purchase was made just before the housing market took a nosedive later that year.

SunTrust Bank reportedly filed papers against the actor in Circuit Court in Florida’s Lake County.  The bank says Tucker owes over $4.4 million.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, Tucker’s estate is located in the Bella Collina development, a nearly 2,000-acre community with waterfront homes and estates that overlook a massive golf course.

Tucker’s home reportedly features five bedrooms, three fireplaces, and a personal spa.  An outdoor kitchen overlooks a swimming pool, and the basement is fit to resemble a pirate ship, according to the Sentinel.

Though his last film -- 2007′s Rush Hour 3 -- was a sizable hit, taking in over $140 million at the domestic box office, he hasn’t been featured in a film since.  Earlier this year, Tucker returned to stand up comedy, touring theaters across the U.S.

Foreclosure Threatens South Florida Home of Burt Reynolds

Carlos Marino/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Looks like the foreclosure crisis is hitting Burt Reynolds. The Smokey and the Bandit star reportedly owes over a million bucks on his South Florida home called Valhalla, and he hasn't made a payment in a year.

The South Florida Sun Sentinel says the house, which Reynolds bought with ex-wife Loni Anderson, is worth 2.4 million. He put it on the market in 2009 for almost 9 million.

Reynolds has been in financial trouble before. He filed for bankruptcy in the '90s after divorcing Anderson and after some bad investments.

Bristol Palin Buys House in Arizona

Photo Courtesy - ABC/Adam Larkey(MARICOPA, Ariz.) -- Bristol Palin bought a five-bedroom house in a development called Cobblestone Farms, in Maricopa, Ariz., a suburb of Pinal County.

The 20-year-old daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin bought the house for $172,000 from a North Dakota couple, according to The Arizona Republic.

The Palin family offered no comment on the sale, but it has generated speculation on what Bristol and her mother Sarah's plans are for the home. TMZ.com is reporting that Ms. Palin may be eying an Arizona college.

Public records state the 3,900-square-foot house was built in 2006, and purchased for $329,560. The property had been in foreclosure earlier this year.

Hardly one to stay out of the headlines, Bristol Palin recently made big news with her stint on the 11th season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. She came in third, even though she had the least experience among all the contestants. After 10 weeks of stiff competition, Bristol, whose spot in the finals was surrounded by controversy for her low scores in previous weeks, said she was ready to return home to Alaska and spend time with her family.

It is unclear if her new Arizona home will be a permanent or seasonal residence.

The "Octomom" Has a Yard Sale to Save Home

Photo Courtesy - ABC News(LA HABRA, Calif.) -- Despite all the media attention, so-called “Octomom” Nadya Suleman hasn’t been able to cash in on her fame.  Suleman's home in La Habra, California is set to foreclose in two weeks, unless she can manage to raise $450,000 to stop the bank from taking action.  Last Saturday, Suleman hosted a yard sale, putting virtually everything but her 14 kids on sale.  She was forced to hawk her nursing bra and other undergarments, baby clothes, and various appliances, including the refrigerator that kept all the baby formula cold.  Along with selling the Halloween devil costumes worn by the octuplets for 50 bucks, Suleman also charged customers $10 to have a picture taken with her and $100 for a group shot of the family.  Suleman was inseminated with six embryos, two of which split into twins. She gave birth to all eight children in January 2009.´╗┐
