(CAVE-IN-ROCK, Ill.) -- It appeared as though Charlie Sheen was booed and pelted with garbage while onstage at the Insane Clown Posse's Gathering of the Juggalos music festival this past weekend, but things weren't really as bad as they looked.
Apparently, having garbage tossed at you is a good thing if you run with the ICP crowd.
A spokesperson for Sheen told EOnline.com, "Charlie did not get booed off of the stage. The Juggalos were chanting 'whoop- whoop,' which is a show of love. Charlie Sheen did well in front of the Juggalos."
"It was a huge response," the rep added. "He was tremendously received. There is no greater compliment to have garbage thrown at an artist. The crowd didn't want him to leave."
Prior to the event, Sheen was so excited he tweeted, "Gathering of The Juggalos When I say Tech you say 9..! These guys blew my mind Do not walk… Run to get their new album #tech9."
In fact, things went so well for Sheen that E! reports he has already been invited to appear at a future Juggalo event
