(NEW YORK) -- New York Magazine is reporting a software developer is suing Beyonce for more than $100 million, claiming she bailed out of a dance video game.
According to the suit, Gate Five says Beyonce's decision to pull out of the project "on what appeared to be a whim" not only "destroyed" the company's business, but "drove 70 people into unemployment, the week before Christmas."
Reportedly, the game -- titled Starpower: Beyonce -- would have utilized motion-capture video game systems like the Wii to let fans dance along with the star. The lawsuit claims the project was a go until Beyonce asked for more money, which scared off a major investor.
No comment yet from Beyonce's camp.
