George W. Bush Impressionist Steve Bridges Dead at 48

David Livingston/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Steve Bridges, an impressionist who was best known for mimicking President George W. Bush, has died.

According to The Los Angeles Times, he was found dead at his home in L.A. Saturday after recently returning from China, where he had been performing.  Bridges was 48.

He appears to have died of natural causes.  An autopsy is planned.

Bridges was a regular on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno thanks to his impression of Bush, for which he wore prosthetics to look the part.  In 2006, he appeared alongside President Bush at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner.

Bridges' act also included impersonations of Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, as well as Arnold Schwarzenegger.  He was scheduled to perform at the Indian Wells Rotary Club in Indian Wells, Calif., next week.

A statement on his website reads, "It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Bridges. His passing comes as a shock to all of us...Steve brought joy and laughter to millions and was a great inspiration to all who knew him. He will be sadly missed."

Will Family Drama Reign at Lauren Bush, David Lauren's Wedding?

Dimitrios Kambouris/WireImage(NEW YORK) -- Britain's royal wedding was a must-not-miss event. But it seems its American equivalent (not the reality TV one) may not carry quite the same cache.

Lauren Bush, the model, philanthropist, granddaughter and niece of former presidents George H.W. and George W. Bush, will wed David Lauren, the son of fashion mogul Ralph Lauren, at the elder Lauren's Colorado ranch on Sunday. But her presidential forefathers may not be in attendance.

A spokesman for George H.W. and Barbara Bush told ABC News the couple will be unable to go because the ranch's high altitude could pose a threat to their health. A spokesman for George W. Bush declined to comment on his private schedule.

Elevation may not be the Bush's only concern about the wedding.

Sharon Bush, Lauren's mother, endured a very public divorce with George W.'s brother, Neil Bush, in 2003 after 23 years of marriage. The divorce proceedings brought forth a bevy of details about the couple that were disclosed publicly and didn't exactly help the family's reputation. Among them: He engaged in extramarital affairs with multiple female escorts during business trips in Thailand and Hong Kong, he contracted herpes from one of these encounters, and she extracted his hair to either place a voodoo curse on him or administer a drug test, depending on whose testimony you believe.

A contentious settlement followed, and Neil Bush quickly got remarried to Maria Andrews, a former volunteer in Barbara Bush's office. He and Sharon Bush will attend Sunday's wedding; she'll reportedly be escorted by Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia.

But there'll be plenty happening at the wedding to distract guests from potential family drama. Like... a rodeo.

Yes, though they may be high-society scions, the bride and groom to be aren't afraid to get down and dirty. According to the New York Post, the elder Lauren and his wife have planned a rodeo for Monday, the day after the wedding, in Telluride, Colo. Guests will also hit the field for a softball game on Saturday. Teepees, cabins and a saloon at the 17,000-acre Rocky Mountain ranch, which has been dubbed Double RL by the designer and was featured on Oprah, will no doubt fuel the fun as well.

As for the question on many inquiring minds: Once married, the bride will likely not be known as Lauren Lauren.

"I think it will be Lauren Bush-Lauren," she said in the April issue of Harper's Bazaar. "That's not final, but I think it's nice to have the same name as your husband. I am sort of old-fashioned in that way."
