(NEW YORK) -- Gorillaz gave fans a big Christmas gift when they released their new album, The Fall, on their official website Dec. 25. It can be streamed at their site for free or can be downloaded for free if you're a member of their fan club, Sub Division.
The album, which frontman Damon Albarn mostly made on an iPad, includes a mix of instrumental tracks and songs with vocals. But the iPad wasn't the only instrument used to make the album; a guitar, piano, Moog synthesizer, ukelele and other instruments are also included on the recording.
The Fall was recorded over 32 days during the North American leg of the Welcome To Plastic Beach tour.
A video for the opening track, "Phoner To Arizona," was released on Dec. 24 and can also be seen at their official website.
