Jessica Simpson Shows Off Slim Waist in Sexy Halloween Costume

James Devaney/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Halloween was a treat for Jessica Simpson. Wednesday on Twitter, the 32-year-old new mom and Weight Watchers spokeswoman showed off her figure in a milk maid’s outfit, complete with a lace miniskirt, thigh-high boots and a waist-cinching corset.

Her fiance Eric Johnson posed in a Braveheart costume holding their daughter, Maxwell Drew Johnson, who was dressed as a rooster.

Simpson’s been on the slim-down warpath since giving birth in May and signing a reported $3 million dollar contract to be the celebrity face of Weight Watchers. In September, she told Katie Couric she had lost more than 40 pounds.

“During pregnancy, I didn’t really think about it,” she said about her weight gain. “I thought my doctors were telling me that it was just a lot of water and whenever my water broke my whole entire stomach would go down but that did not happen. All the weight did not come out with the baby.”

One of her biggest obstacles has been staying away from chocolate.

“I’ve never wanted chocolate more in my life,” she told Couric. I’ve had to really stay focused and focus on my diet and concentrate on what I’m putting in my body.”

Perhaps the Simpson-Johnson house will be giving out apples this year.

Hollywood Stars Plan Costumes for Halloween

Christopher Polk/Getty Images for PCA(NEW YORK) -- It’s Halloween, and Hollywood celebrities are getting in the spirit. Whether it’s an organized party or just a family evening, there is fun being planned by these stars:

After being booted from Dancing with the Stars, Chaz Bono has Monday evening free, so he can get back to his tradition of watching The Exorcist with his girlfriend. He says, "It gets pretty crazy in our neighborhood, so we like to stay in."

Neil Patrick Harris and his partner, David Burtka, now have two extra reasons to have fun -- namely, their one-year-old twins, Harper and Gideon. The family will be doing a Peter Pan theme, with Neil as Captain Hook, David as Peter Pan, Harper as Tinkerbell and Gideon as Smee.  Harris jokes that since his kids "don't speak the English language yet, we can dictate what those costumes are, I think for this only one more year."

Actress Lauren Bittner, star of Paranormal Activity 3, ought to know a thing or two about being scary. She’s adamant, though, that she will keep things classy with a real traditional costume. No revealing nurse or devil outfits for her: "A lot of girls just use [Halloween] as an excuse to like dress sort of sexy, and that's not for me."

Former 'NSYNC singer Lance Bass is a self-confessed Halloween nut. He says that he has at least three costumes, and will be hosting a party at the famous Hollywood Forever Cemetery. He plans to dress as the dog from the FX show Wilfred. He adds that at another party he's "doing the whole K-Pop like Asian look, like club kid thing."

"Charlie Sheen" Proving to Be Winning Halloween Costume

ABC/Richard Cartwright (NEW YORK) -- While it seems for now that his tiger blood-swilling days are behind him, Charlie Sheen's famed flame-out earlier this year will live again this Halloween.

Steven Silverstein, the C.E.O. of Spirit Halloween, the country's largest seasonal Halloween retailer, tells that costumes and accessories celebrating the former Two and a Half Men star are flying off the shelves. "His 'winning' attitude certainly struck a nerve," Silverstein quips.

The retailer not only sells a Charlie Sheen mask, but also a "#winning" tee shirt and a pack of "Winning" cigarettes to help complete the look.

Stars Dish On How They'll Be Spending Halloween This Year

Photo Courtesy - Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Stars love Halloween, but maybe that's because it's a rare chance for them to go out in public without being recognized.  Here's a roundup of how some stars, and their kids, are celebrating Halloween this weekend:

-- If a car approaches you in Los Angeles on Halloween and someone in that car offers you all the candy you want, don't run the other way -- it just might be Janet Jackson.  She tells ABC News Radio, "I like to get those plastic laundry bags, and fill it with candy, and drive around and just give it to kids....we drive around in the car and let them take as much as they want."

-- Jon Bon Jovi has four kids, and he says his two youngest ones have their costumes all planned out -- for the moment.  He says his son Romeo "is some character called Toad," admitting, "I don't know what that is."  And his son Jacob is "some kind of zombie ninja something-or-other, the bloodier the better for him."  But, he adds, "You know as well as I know it, it will change between now and the weekend."

-- Jesse McCartney says he hasn't done much for Halloween in recent years, but he and his buddies have a big plan for a costume this year: they want to go as Blackberry Emoticons.  McCartney says, "We wanna paint our faces yellow, and put on white t-shirts, and then draw...all the faces: happy, sad, embarrassed, sick... one guy will be green...I think it'd be kinda fun."

-- Melissa Etheridge has four kids, and she says her two older ones are still way into Halloween.  She says her son plans to go as a backyard this year -- she explains, "He dresses up all in Astroturf."  Etheridge's friend Crystal Bowersox says her little son Tony has been pretending to be a dog lately, so she might dress him as a puppy.  Alternately, Bowersox says, "Maybe I'll be Snoopy and he's Woodstock or something," adding, " We're gonna do a family Halloween.  It's gonna be really cheesy, horrible and over-the-top."

-- Taio Cruz says that he plans to go as "the most evil thing in the world -- a lawyer."  He'll just wear a suit, he says.  Otherwise, he adds, "I'll be a Jedi or something like that, and go hang out with some friends."

-- Carrying on a joke he's been doing for the past 40 years, Donny Osmond says, "I'm gonna dress up and be somebody really, really scary.  I'm gonna dress up as Marie."
