Movie Review: 'Hanna'

Focus Features(NEW YORK) -- It's hard to imagine anyone else playing the title role in Hanna but Saoirse Ronan.  Hanna is a 16-year-old who has spent her entire life in the wilds of North Finland training to be an assassin with her father, a rogue CIA agent named Erik, played by Eric Bana.  When Hanna decides she's ready to fulfill the mission her father has spent all these years preparing her for, this unique action thriller is set in motion.

Ronan, nominated for an Oscar at 13 for Atonement, can now add "action star" to her resume.  She manages to hold her own and even outshine Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett, who plays a devious CIA operative intent on destroying Hanna and her father.  Four out of five stars.
