Katy Perry to Guest-Star on 'How I Met Your Mother'

Photo Courtesy - Frazer Harrison/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Carrie Underwood and Britney Spears have done it, and now it's Katy Perry's turn to guest star on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother.

Making her debut on the show Monday night, Perry plays Zoey's super-naive cousin, whom everyone calls Honey because when she utters one of her clueless remarks, people respond by saying, pityingly, "Oh, honey."

In the episode, Honey gets fixed up with Ted, but Barney, played by Neil Patrick Harris, also has his eye on her.  What happens between her, Ted and Barney gets relayed to Marshall, who's out of town, but the story changes depending on who's telling it.  Ultimately, though, the experience leads to Ted realizing he has feelings for Zoey.
