Counter-Terrorism Police Seize Weapons from Brad Pitt's New Movie

Michael Tran/FilmMagic(BUDAPEST, Hungary) -- Hungarian anti-terrorism authorities raided the set of Brad Pitt's upcoming zombie movie, World War Z, on Monday, seizing 85 weapons from a warehouse in Budapest.

The police seized ammunition and 85 weapons that came with paperwork stating they were non-functional props, but it turned out that the guns were actually fully-functional assault weapons.

Hajdu Janos and Zsolt Bodnar, the director and deputy director of Hungary's Anti-Terrorism Unit, told UsMagazine.com, "This morning a private plane brought guns wrapped in a parcel from a company to an individual in Budapest.  Guns like these are highly illegal to transport even if they were to be used as stage guns, which hopefully they weren't."

Janos added, "We are interrogating witnesses now, getting closer to solving the firearms story."

World War Z is scheduled to open in theaters nationwide in December 2012.

Elvis Presley to Be Named Honorary Citizen of Budapest

Hulton Archive/Getty Images(LONDON) -- The King of Rock is about to become a citizen of Budapest, Hungary nearly 34 years after his death.

Elvis Presley is set to be honored with citizenship and a landmark that will bear his name, according to The Guardian.  Budapest mayor Istvan Tarlos says the reason for Presley being honored is "not sentimental but political."

The King championed the Hungarian revolution in 1956, when the people rose up against their Soviet-run government, even though the revolt was crushed only a few weeks later.  Presley appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1957 and performed "Peace In The Valley" in honor of the Hungarian people.

The city has opened an online poll for citizens to vote on which of the 12 local landmarks should be renamed after Presley.  The voting ends March 15.
