Report: Halle Berry Taken to Hospital After On-Set Injury

Steve Granitz/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Halle Berry was rushed to the hospital after injuring herself in a fall, according to ABC News affiliate KABC-TV.

The Oscar-winning actress reportedly was shooting the film The Hive in Los Angeles when she took a tumble at around 10:00 p.m. Tuesday and hit her head.  She was taken to L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Hospital via ambulance and was released.

In a statement, Berry's agent described her injury as minor.

Kristin Chenoweth Recovering After "Good Wife" Injury

David Livingston/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Actress Kristin Chenoweth is out of the hospital and recovering after being injured on the set of CBS’ The Good Wife.

“Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering,” her publicist told ABC News. “She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes.”

Chenoweth was hit in the head by falling lighting equipment Wednesday.

“While filming a scene for The Good Wife in Brooklyn, a gust of wind blew a lighting silk out of place striking actress Kristin Chenoweth,” CBS said in a statement. “All of us at the studio and the show are thinking about Kristin and wishing her a quick recovery.”

A spokesman for the New York City Fire Department told TMZ that Chenoweth was being treated for “minor injuries” connected to the accident on Wednesday afternoon. The gossip site obtained photos of Chenoweth strapped to a stretcher before being loaded into an ambulance.

A witness said Chenoweth was hit “square in the head” and was “knocked out cold,” according to TMZ.

Chenoweth, 43, won a Tony Award for her role in Broadway’s You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown and an Emmy Award for her work on Pushing Daisies. She also appeared in the Broadway box office smash-hit Wicked from 2003-04. Chenoweth has a reoccurring role on The Good Wife this upcoming season.

"Dancing with the Stars": Maria Menounos Reportedly Breaks a Rib

ABC/Lou Rocco(LOS ANGELES) -- It seems every season of Dancing with the Stars features at least one contestant who suffers an injury during practice that becomes a dramatic storyline for the entire season. This time around, it's Extra host Maria Menounos who's playing hurt, reports the New York Post.

The report says Menounos busted a rib during a "hard-core" rehearsal with partner Derek Hough, but she's been soldiering on despite "excruciating pain" from the break.  The source says the injury happened during cha-cha-cha practice, and Menounos is camouflaging a rib brace underneath her costumes.

"She refuses to give up," the source says.

Brad Pitt Suffers Torn Knee Ligament

Eric Charbonneau/WireImage/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Brad Pitt was photographed leaving a Beverly Hills spa walking with the aid of a cane, but it wasn't research for playing an elderly man.  Pitt told members of the paparazzi he tore a ligament in his knee.  The Moneyball star is avid motorcycle rider, but he didn't say how he picked up the injury.

Meanwhile, the L.A. Times reports Pitt’s upcoming film, World War Z, may become a movie franchise.  The newspaper says Paramount sees the zombie thriller “as a trilogy that would have the grounded, gun-metal realism of the Jason Bourne series tethered to the unsettling end-times vibe of AMC’s The Walking Dead.”

Aerosmith's Steven Tyler Breaks Teeth in Hotel Bathroom Fall

Arnaldo Magnani/Getty Images(ASUNCION, Paraguay) -- Steven Tyler was hospitalized Tuesday in Asuncion, Paraguay, after an apparent fall in his hotel bathroom, Agence France-Press reports, citing a Spanish-language article in the country's ABC Digital.  The Aerosmith singer, whose band was supposed to play in Asuncion on Tuesday night as part of its recently launched South American tour, reportedly broke two teeth and suffered cuts to his mouth and his eyebrow in the accident.  According to ABC Digital, the concert has been postponed.

In August 2009, Tyler broke his shoulder after falling from the stage during an Aerosmith concert in Sturgis, South Dakota, bringing that show to an abrupt halt.  He later admitted that he had been snorting the sleeping pill Lunesta prior to the gig.

Kristen Stewart Injured on 'Snow White' Set?

Michael Tran/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Kristen Stewart apparently suffered minor injuries this week while shooting her upcoming film Snow White and the Huntsman.

According to E! Online, another actor who will appear in the movie, Max Manganello, tweeted Tuesday morning, "Kristen hurt herself...nothing scary."  He later deleted the tweet.

The nature of Stewart's injuries is currently unknown.

Snow White and the Huntsman, also starring Charlize Theron, opens next June.

'The Playboy Club' Star Eddie Cibrian Injures Right Heel on Set

Peter Kramer/NBC(CHICAGO) -- The Playboy Club actor Eddie Cibrian suffered injury to insult Tuesday night, just hours after the NBC drama was cancelled after three episodes. The Chicago Sun-Times reports Cibrian suffered a deep gash in his right heel while running down an alley in Chicago. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Cibrian's wife, country singer LeAnn Rimes, confirmed the injury on her Twitter feed, writing, "My husband is hurt...stitches in his Achilles!"

Despite NBC's cancellation of The Playboy Club, the show will continue to shoot scenes through next Monday. Reportedly, producers hope to shop the show to another network.

Halle Berry Breaks Foot, Impacting Film Shoot

The actress was photographed leaving a hospital in a wheelchair, with her foot in a cast.

TMZ says the film crew will do their best to accommodate Berry in the coming days, including shooting scenes in which she is not needed.

Reese Witherspoon Has Black Eye after Getting Hit by Car

Photographs circulating the Internet show the Oscar-winning actress with a black eye and a bandage on her forehead.  People magazine reports she was photographed in Los Angeles Monday while headed to a birthday party.

Reese Witherspoon Always Feared Being Hit by Car

Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- One of Reese Witherspoon's worst fears came true when she was hit by a car last week while jogging.

An Us Weekly source claims that Witherspoon has always been afraid of being struck by a car. The source adds, "She is always the first person to pull people away from the edge of the curb because she doesn't want them being accidentally hit."

Witherspoon was "really frightened" by the incident, says the source, though she reportedly won't press charges against the 84-year-old female driver.  E! News says the driver was ticketed with a moving violation and must retake the driver's test.
