'Gulliver's Travels' Opens Christmas Day

Photo Courtesy - 20th Century Fox(NEW YORK) -- Jack Black’s latest film will take a trip to your local theater on Christmas Day.  Gulliver's Travels, a modern-day spin on the classic 18th-century Jonathan Swift novel, opens nationwide on Saturday.

Black plays Lemuel Gulliver, a mailroom clerk who’s transported to a land called Lilliput, where he's literally a giant among the natives.  Jason Segel, Emily Blunt and Amanda Peet also star in the movie, which is screening in 3D and is rated PG.

Gulliver's Travels will face competition from Little Fockers and True Grit, which both opened Wednesday.  ´╗┐
