Beyonce 'Feeling Much Better Now'

Photo by Jim McIsaac/Getty Images(ANTWERP, Belgium) -- Beyonce is “feeling much better,” a day after a doctor ordered her to postpone her show Tuesday night in Antwerp, Belgium.

The singer posted a handwritten apology to fans for having to cancel the concert on her website.

“I’ve never postponed a show in my life. It was very hard for me. I promise I will make it up very soon. I’m sorry if I disappointed you. Thank you for your concern. I’m feeling much better now and I’m ready to give you a great show.”

The “Single Ladies” singer had two shows in Antwerp scheduled for The Mrs. Carter Show world tour. Though it appears the show will go on Wednesday night, there is no word on when the first show will be rescheduled.

Beyonce released a statement Tuesday morning saying she had been “advised by her doctors to rest as a result of dehydration and exhaustion” and that “ticket holders should keep their tickets to be used with the re-scheduled date.”

Tuesday’s cancellation quickly fueled rumors that the 31-year-old singer is pregnant with her second child. Sources close to the singer have been quick to quash the reports.

“Beyoncé and Jay are planning for another baby after her tour is over and things calm down just a bit,” one source told People on Monday, referring to the singer and husband Jay-Z.

In a recent interview with Good Morning America in London, the mother of Blue Ivy, said she’s definitely open to more children.

“I think my daughter needs some company,” she said. “I definitely love being big sister.”

New York Public Library Posts Photo from 1939 with Jay-Z Look-Alike

Jim McIsaac/Getty Images(NEW YORK) --  A photo from 1939 that was posted to the New York Public Library's Tumblr blog on Friday bears the image of a man who many say looks eerily like rapper Jay-z.

A spokeswoman for the library told the New York Times that the picture is "100 percent ... legitimate." The photograph, titled "Harlem Loiterers," was first posted on the Facebook page for the New York Public Library's Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture on Tuesday.

According to the New York Times, the incident is not the first for the library. In 2011, someone noticed a prison photo that bears similar appearances to both Brad Pit and Mark Wahlberg.

Did Robert De Niro Go All Raging Bull on Jay-Z?

VALERY HACHE/AFP/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- One of the world's biggest stars went toe-to-toe with one of music's biggest names on Saturday, the New York Post reports, when Robert De Niro had it out with Jay-Z at a star-studded birthday bash for Leonardo DiCaprio.

The party, held at The Darby in New York, was also a fundraiser for the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, which in part funneled donations to Hurricane Sandy relief.  But despite the festive atmosphere, De Niro reportedly gave Jay a public "dressing down" over the music mogul's not returning his calls.

A spy said, "Bob was sitting at a table, and when Jay-Z went over to say hello, De Niro told Jay that he never called him back...Bob wasn't in any mood to make polite conversation...He told Jay that if somebody calls you six times, you call them back.  It doesn’t matter who you are, that is just rude."

The source said Jay tried in vain to "joke his way out," and that his better half, Beyonce, even tried to smooth things over, "but that didn't calm Bob down."

The spy called the exchange "the talk of the party," saying, "Everyone was saying there's only one star in New York bigger and badder than Jay-Z, and that's Robert De Niro.  He can be quite scary when he's angry."

De Niro reportedly was upset that Jay didn't return his calls after they agreed that the rapper would record a song for the actor's Tribeca Film Festival.

Jay-Z’s One Problem with the 99 Percent

PRNewsFoto/BET Networks(NEW YORK) -- Jay-z has rapped about “99 problems,” and now he’s identifying one of them: the 99 percent.

In an interview with the New York Times, the “Empire State of Mind” rapper and mogul dished out tough criticism of the Occupy Wall Street movement, questioning its message while defending free enterprise.

“What’s the thing on the wall, what are you fighting for?” he asks in the Times.

“I think all those things need to really declare themselves a bit more clearly. Because when you just say that ‘the 1 percent is that,’ that’s not true. Yeah, the 1 percent that’s robbing people, and deceiving people, these fixed mortgages and all these things, and then taking their home away from them, that’s criminal, that’s bad. Not being an entrepreneur. This is free enterprise. This is what America is built on.”

Occupy Wall Street drew the attention and support of many of Jay-Z’s fellow celebrities, including Kayne West and Russell Simmons.

Jay-Z recalled telling hip-hop business mogul Simmons, “I’m not going to a park and picnic, I have no idea what to do, I don’t know what the fight is about. What do we want, do you know?”

The harsh words may come as a shock to some, considering Rocawear, Jay-Z’s clothing line, began selling “Occupy All Streets” shirts in late 2011, which seemed to indicated tacit approval of the movement. The shirts sold out quickly but received a barrage of criticism when it was revealed the proceeds were not going to the Occupy movement.

“‘Occupy All Streets’ is our way of reminding people that there is change to be made everywhere, not just on Wall Street,” Rocawear said in a statement.  ”At this time we have not made an official commitment to monetarily support the movement.”

Jay-Z is no stranger to politics. Both he and his wife Beyonce have been vocal supporters of President Obama, and were even rumored to make an appearance at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C. last week, although the talk turned out to be unfounded.

In May, Jay-Z told CNN that President Obama is a better choice for the country than Mitt Romney “by leaps and bounds.”

The president even appeared in a pre-recorded video introducing the rapper at the “Made in America” festival in Philadelphia, saying Jay-Z represented what “Made in America” means.

Although President Obama has avoided providing any public support of Occupy Wall Street, he has said that he understands the sentiment expressed by the demonstrators.

In an interview with ABC News senior White House correspondent Jake Tapper, Obama said that it was important to let the protesters know leaders were “on their side.”

“I understand the frustrations being expressed in those protests,” Obama told Tapper in Jamestown, N.C.

“In some ways, they’re not that different from some of the protests that we saw coming from the Tea Party.  Both on the left and the right, I think people feel separated from their government. They feel that their institutions aren’t looking out for them,” he said.

Source Says Beyonce and Kim Kardashian 'Love Each Other'

Christopher Polk/Getty Images For BET(NEW YORK) -- It seems Kim Kardashian and Beyonce are best friends after all, reports TMZ. The news comes in the wake of recent speculation to the contrary, following a story in which Beyonce allegedly confronted Kim at Jay-Z’s recent Made in America event in Philadelphia -- asking her to stop posing for the cameras and stealing the spotlight from the rapper.

But sources close to Beyonce tell TMZ that there was, in fact, no such confrontation and that the singer joined the reality star backstage “laughing and hugging the whole time,” as Jay-Z and Kim’s man, Kanye performed.

One source said of Bey and Kim, “They love each other -- they talk fashion, family, Beyonce’s baby all the time.”

‘Made in America’ Rocks with Jay-Z, Obama and More

PRNewsFoto/BET Networks(Philadelphia, Pa.) -- “Made in America” concert goers are still buzzing about Jay-Z’s blow out set at his inaugural music festival Saturday night, in which special guests including Kanye West and Common brought down the house with HOVA.

The rap mogul even roped in President Obama, who made a video appearance to voice his support for Made in America’s patriotic purpose and urge attendees to register to vote.

An hour ahead of the start of MIA’s second day, there seemed to be almost as many voter registration volunteers as concert goers.

Blame it on the rain or Jay-Z’s show-stopping set — it sounds like it’ll be all but impossible to top his chaos-enduring rendition of “N***** in Paris.”

But with an A-list group of performers on deck Sunday — from Drake to Run DMC to Pearl Jam — a legendary show is likely to go down anyway.

Beyonce, Jay-Z Top "Forbes'" List of World's Highest-Paid Celeb Couples

Al Bello/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Beyonce and Jay-Z are movin' on up.  When Forbes released its list of the world's highest-paid celebrity couples last year, the hip-hop power couple was the runner-up for the top spot.  This year, they've climbed to number one.

The magazine points out that though Beyonce put the brakes on her whirlwind schedule in 2011 to welcome into the world her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, the mommy still raked in dough during her maternity leave.  According to Forbes, Beyonce pulled in large sums from her old hits, and that's on top of the money she's made from her platinum-selling album 4.

Between May 1, 2011 and May 1, 2012, Forbes reports that Beyonce earned $40 million, thanks in part to her non-musical ventures, including a fragrance collection.

As for Jay-Z, he made millions as part of The Throne, which sold out arenas on a global tour.  He stacked slightly less dough than his wife, with Jay earning $38 million between May 1, 2011 and May 1, 2012.  Some of his money came from non-musical enterprises, including cosmetics company Carol's Daughter and ad firm Translation, according to Forbes.

Together, Beyonce and Jay-Z collected an annual income of $78 million.

Second on Forbes' list is supermodel Gisele Bundchen and her quarterback-husband, Tom Brady.  Combined, the duo pulled in $72 million between May of 2011 and May of 2012, thanks to her modeling work, his NFL salary, and their respective endorsement deals.

David and Victoria Beckham rank third with $54 million, ahead of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who raked in $45 million, and Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, who collected $40 million.

2012 BET Awards: Kanye West and Jay-Z Among Biggest Winners

Michael Buckner/Getty Images For BET(LOS ANGELES) -- BET held its annual awards show on Sunday night, and while the censors worked up a sweat trying to mute out the cursing -- to mixed results, as some aired anyway -- the marathon show saw multiple nominees Kanye West and Jay-Z, as well as Chris Brown and Jay's wife Beyonce, take home multiple awards.  There was also a moving tribute to Whitney Houston from her former peers and her mother Cissy.

The show opened with West and his G.O.O.D. partners Big Sean, Pusha T, and 2 Chainz performing "Mercy," which led to West performing "Way Too Cold," featuring a rap tribute to current girlfriend Kim Kardashian, who like West was dressed all in white at the ceremony.

Some laughs included host Samuel L. Jackson and Spike Lee spoofing Jay-Z and West's "N***as in Paris," and Jay-Z interrupting West's acceptance speech for video of the year, spoofing West's drunken interruption of Taylor Swift's 2009 MTV Video Music Awards speech.

Mariah Carey got emotional introducing a musical tribute to her friend Whitney Houston -- a tribute that featured performers including Monica, Brandy, and Chaka Khan singing Houston's hits.  There wasn't a dry eye in the house when Cissy Houston sang "Bridge over Troubled Waters" to honor her daughter.
