Man Charged with Stalking Jennifer Lawrence

ABC/Rick Rowell(LOUISVILLE, Ky.) -- A man accused of stalking actress Jennifer Lawrence was charged Monday in Louisville, KY with interstate stalking and repeated harassing phone communications after allegedly contacting the actress's brother, Blaine Lawrence, over 200 times last month.

Zhao Han Cong was first taken into custody last month after flying to Louisville, which is Lawrence's hometown, in an attempt to get close to the actress's brother. The 23-year-old resident of Vancouver, BC allegedly asked Blaine to introduce him to his sister in an attempt to "protect" her. Cong allegedly said "bad things" would happen to the Lawrence family if he didn't meet the Oscar-winner. He also referred to himself as Jennifer's "husband for life."

Cong was apprehended and placed under psychiatric observation last month after he went to a Louisville police station to ask for Jennifer Lawrence's address. He was arrested by federal officials May 7 following his release. Last Friday, he was ordered held for additional psychiatric observation and testing, at the request of his public defender.

Cong has not yet entered a plea in response to Monday's charges.

Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult Back Together?

Photo by Kevin Winter/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult broke up shortly before she won the Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook, but now they’re hanging out again.

The actress, 22, and the Jack the Giant Slayer star, 23, stepped out Monday for dinner at the Little Door restaurant in Hollywood. Despite their best attempts to slip out unnoticed, photographers managed to snap shots of the pair.

Lawrence, who is still sporting a new, shorter hairdo, was carrying a copy of Anna Karenina. She looked casual in a white, lace top and black blazer, while Hoult opted for dark pants and a green jacket.

The two met while filming X-Men: First Class, and are currently filming X-Men: Days of Future Past together.

“My boyfriend is honestly my best friend, and hopefully I’m his best friend too,” Lawrence said of Hoult last year. “He’s my favorite person to be around and he makes me laugh harder than anybody.”

Jennifer Lawrence Admits She Was Photoshopped

Christian Dior(LOS ANGELES) -- Jennifer Lawrence’s flawless beauty is too good to be true even in her eyes. She has admitted that her new Dior ad campaign has had a few touch-ups.

The Oscar-winning Silver Linings Playbook actress spoke to Access Hollywood about her ad. “Oh, my God, I haven’t seen this. That doesn’t look like me at all. I love Photoshop more than anything in the world. Of course it’s Photoshop, people don’t look like that.”

Lawrence has gained a lot of support on Twitter with fans applauding the star for admitting that her natural beauty had a little help from technology.

Dior’s public relations department did not return calls to ABC News for comment.

In Dior’s ad campaign, Lawrence models the spring ready-to-wear-collection by Dior’s Raf Simons. Lawrence is a fan of the French fashion house and wore the designer to both the Golden Globes and, most recently,  the 85th Academy Awards.

Producer: Jennifer Lawrence Almost Didn't Get "Silver Linings" Part

Weinstein Company(NEW YORK) -- Many critics felt Jennifer Lawrence was a lock for a best actress Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook -- and they turned out to be right Sunday night -- but she nearly lost out on the role.

Producer John Gordon told ABC News Radio that director David O. Russell had some reservations about the actress before she auditioned for him.

"She was actually right at the last minute," the producer explained.  "Every actress in Hollywood wanted to play this part...and she had read the script and really wanted to do it, and David originally thought she was too young."

At the time, Lawrence was 20, Gordon explained, but any reservations about Lawrence went out the window after a seemingly unconventional audition.

"She Skyped her audition from her parent's house in Louisville, Ky., and it was unquestionable at that moment that she was the person to play the part," Gordon said.

Film Independent Spirit Awards: 'Silver Linings Playbook' Is Big Winner

John Shearer/Getty Images For Piaget(NEW YORK) -- Silver Linings Playbook shone at the Film Independent Spirit Awards, a kind of prelude to Hollywood's biggest awards -- the Oscars, winning four of the honors given to the best of independent films.

The film, which was nominated in five categories, won best picture, best director and best screenplay for David O. Russell, and best actress for Jennifer Lawrence, who also won best actress at the Golden Globes.

Bradley Cooper was also nominated for best actor for his role in the film, but he lost out to John Hawkes for The Sessions.

Helen Hunt, Hawkes' co-star in The Sessions, also won in the best supporting actress category.

The best supporting actor award went to Matthew McConaughey for Magic Mike.

The Spirit Awards “celebrates artist-driven filmmaking and recognizes the finest achievements of today's independent filmmakers," according to the Film Independent website.

The Film Independent Spirit Awards were first given out in 1984, which were known as the FINDIE Awards (Friends of Independents). The awards were later renamed as Independent Spirit Awards in 1986.

Saturday Night Live cast member Andy Samberg was this year's host.

Unlike other award shows, the Film Independent Spirit Awards ceremony is a luncheon event in a tent on the beach in Santa Monica, Calif., but the winners were not announced until after the ceremony aired Saturday on IFC at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Jennifer Lawrence Explains 'Insulting' Meryl Streep, Being a Reformed Liar

Kevin Winter/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Fresh from her second Oscar nomination and a Golden Globe award for her work in Silver Linings Playbook, Jennifer Lawrence laughed it up on the Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday, and said her past as a "pathological liar" paved the way for her acting career.

"I was just like a pathological liar when I was a kid.  I was just always lying about everything.  I think it was like partly, I wanted to one-up somebody," Lawrence told Letterman.

The actress recalled, "Somebody would be like, 'God, my leg hurts.'  And I'd be like, 'Your legs hurts?  I'm getting mine amputated next week.'  And that's actually how my mother found out, she came to my school and somebody was like, 'God, that's such a shame about Jennifer's leg!'"

The 22-year-old said her mom made her "purge" all the lies she told.  Lawrence now says she's a terrible liar.

The star also set the record straight about her Globes acceptance speech.  Not many realized Lawrence was referencing a popular movie when she held up her trophy saying, "I beat Meryl!," misinterpreting it as a dig against Meryl Streep, who was among her Best Actress competition.

Even a certain troubled starlet was quick to take to Twitter to diss Lawrence, saying she shouldn't have poked fun at Streep.

"It was a quote from First Wives Club!" Lawrence told Letterman.  "[First Wives Club star] Bette Midler was talking about a globe...[and] says, 'Look what it says, it says, 'I beat Meryl!'...And it was so perfect...I can't believe nobody's ever done it before."

Lawrence then quipped, "I said it, and I had no idea that Lindsay Lohan would take to the Twitterverse," referring to Lohan's snipe following the Golden Globes show, "...no1 should ever mess with a legend, such as Meryl Streep."

The Hunger Games series star will host the Jan. 19 installment of Saturday Night Live, which is the show's 2013 season debut.
