Report: 'Jersey Shore's' Snooki Is Pregnant

Craig Barritt/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- The New York Post reports Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is expecting her first child.

Despite her denials earlier this month, Snooki, 24, is reported to be "roughly a few months along" with a baby fathered by boyfriend Jionni LaVal.

Snooki reportedly wanted to delay announcing her condition until she snagged an exclusive deal with a celebrity magazine.  The Post reports Snooki has done just that, inking a deal with Us Weekly, and is now aiming to, "bankroll her mommy-to-be status into becoming 'the next Kourtney Kardashian.'"

On Feb. 2, in interviews on both Good Morning America and Live! with Kelly, Snooki denied being with child.

During her Live! with Kelly appearance, Snooki suspiciously skipped a stunt that had Kelly Ripa and Jersey Shore pal Jennifer "JWoww" Farley popping balloons between them by smashing their tummies together.

Officially, MTV is still remaining mum, but according to the Post, the news panicked MTV execs because a pregnancy means sweeping changes in the already in-production Jersey Shore spin-off that stars Snooki and JWoww.

Regarding the pregnancy, a source tells the Post that “[MTV is] trying to hide it because it would greatly affect the creative direction of the show." Polizzi's rep has declined to comment on the report.

NJ Mayor Receives Award for Rejecting 'Jersey Shore' Spin-Off

Craig Barritt/Getty Images(HOBOKEN, N.J.) -- After announcing late last month that her city denied a film permit to producers of an upcoming Jersey Shore spin-off, the mayor of Hoboken, N.J., has received kudos from an Italian-American organization.

The Italian-American One Voice Coalition, which aims to fight defamation, discrimination and negative stereotyping against Italian-Americans, was slated to give Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer its "Una Voice" award before a city council meeting on Wednesday night, according to The Jersey Journal.

The president of the organization said in a statement, "MTV’s Jersey Shore has been a blight on the State of New Jersey as well as an insult to all Italian-Americans."

Zimmer has said the film permit was denied "based on protecting public safety and quality of life concerns for Hoboken residents."

In its statement, the Italian-American One Voice Coalition accused Jersey City of taking "one step backwards" by granting a film permit to the spin-off.

The spin-off will star Jersey Shore cast members Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley -- neither of which, incidentally, are actually Italian.

'Jersey Shore' Spin-Off Headed to Jersey City

Craig Barritt/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- After being snubbed by Hoboken, N.J., Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley will take their Jersey Shore spin-off elsewhere in the state.

WNYW-TV in New York reports producers of the project have obtained film permits from Jersey City officials and will shoot in restaurants and bars there.

Late last month, Hoboken's mayor said a request by producers to shoot the spin-off in her city was denied in order to protect "public safety and quality of life concerns" for local residents.

'Jersey Shore's' Snooki Once Again Disputes Pregnancy Rumors

Jason Merritt/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi wants to make something clear: She wants babies.  She just isn't having one yet.

Snooki and her costar Jenny "JWoww" Farley appeared on Good Morning America and on Live! with Kelly Thursday and discussed a RadarOnline story that said the petite guidette has gone from too tan to "tin roof rusted."

"Everyone was going crazy yesterday [with the pregnancy rumor] and I was like, 'Great, I gained weight again,'" newly-skinny Snooki cracked to Kelly Ripa and guest co-host Peter Facinelli.  "I like children...but I'm not pregnant."

Radar's story said that Snooki and her boyfriend, Jionni LaValle, have only told close friends they're expecting their first child, and the alleged pregnancy has forced MTV to, "re-do the creative direction" of the Jersey Shore spin-off that will star Polizzi and Farley.

'Snooki' and 'JWoww' Respond to Hoboken Film Permit Snub

Craig Barritt/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley don't understand why Hoboken, N.J., officials are refusing to let them shoot a spin-off of their hit MTV series Jersey Shore in the city.

Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer said this week a film permit for the spin-off was denied due to, "public safety and quality of life concerns."  But Farley argues that she and Polizzi would have made positive contributions to the city.

Appearing with Polizzi on a New York City radio show Wednesday morning, Farley said, "It's their loss. We're just trying to help the economy in Jersey and we're trying to bring profit to it.  What's wrong with that?"

Polizzi isn't taking the Hoboken snub personally.  She said, "I love Hoboken.  No hate.  Maybe [Zimmer] just doesn't like our tans, I don't know."

After the city's decision was made public, Zimmer told ABC News Radio she didn't, "want people coming and destroying -- hootin' and hollerin' in the middle of the night, and destroying our city."

Farley said Wednesday that she and Polizzi didn't even know Hoboken was a potential filming location for their spin-off until Zimmer issued her statement.

'Snooki's' Rep Denies Pregnancy Report

ABC News(NEW YORK) -- You will not see a little "Snooki" roaming around New Jersey on TV sometime in the next year.

Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is denying rumors that she and her boyfriend, Jionni LaValle, are expecting their first child.

In a Star magazine report posted on, a source claims the 24-year-old Polizzi is pregnant and has, "only told her closest friends and some family.” The source also says the alleged pregnancy has forced MTV to "re-do the creative direction" of the Jersey Shore spin-off that will star Polizzi and Jenni “J-Woww” Farley.

Polizzi's rep has denied the report to the New York Daily News.

NJ City Denies Film Permit for 'Jersey Shore' Spin-Off

Jason Merritt/Getty Images(HOBOKEN, N.J.) -- Hoboken, N.J., has denied a request by 495 Productions to shoot a Jersey Shore spin-off, starring Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley, in the city for MTV.

In a memo posted on the official Hoboken website, Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer writes, "Based on protecting public safety and quality of life concerns for Hoboken residents, the City has denied a film permit for a spin-off of the Jersey Shore to be filmed in public locations."

Additional letters posted on the site note that the request was for a "reality-based" series that would have required 700 hours of film to produce a one-hour broadcast.  The letter says the proposed 24-hour filming permit would have violated a Hoboken law that prohibits filming in residential areas after 11:00 p.m.

Furthermore, Zimmer says city officials expressed surprise that 495 Productions in the past had filmed in public areas without a necessary permit and instead reached "informal 'verbal agreements'" that involved "payments to individuals."  Zimmer says the city of Hoboken has "zero tolerance" for such actions.

Zimmer expanded on her concerns in an interview with ABC News Radio.  She says she's seen the wild antics of the Jersey Shore crew on MTV, and she doesn't "want people coming and destroying -- hootin' and hollerin' in the middle of the night, and destroying our city."

495 Productions can appeal the decision through the Hoboken Film Commission.

'Jersey Shore's' Snooki Faces $7 Million Lawsuit

Jason Merritt/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Snooki recently filed a lawsuit against a licensing company called SRG Ventures, claiming it did not fulfill its promise to bring in revenue-creating partnerships for the Jersey Shore star.

Now, according to the New York Post, SRG Ventures is filing a $7 million counterclaim against Snooki and her management company, Neon Entertainment, claiming the reality star sabotaged the deal by talking to other brands without SRG Ventures's knowledge.

A rep for Snooki, whose real name is Nicole Polizzi, tells the newspaper, “Ms. Polizzi disputes SRG’s version of the facts and looks forward to her day in court.”

In its countersuit, SRG Ventures claims Snooki failed to act on merchandising opportunities sourced by them, including school supplies, watches, shoes, and lingerie.
