Jersey Shore's Vinny Says Sorry for Controversial Rap

Dave Kotinsky/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Vinny Guadagnino, one of the stars of MTV's Jersey Shore, has apologized and removed a video he posted on his YouTube page after a scathing review from a sex assault advocacy group.

A spokesperson for RAINN, the Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network told TMZ that the lyrics to Vinny's "Rack City" "glorify rape," and "sends a dangerous message to the public." The sexually-charged song has Vinny rapping about having sex with a stripper and includes the line, "Actin' like I'm raping it."

Vinny initially posted a lighthearted apology, saying the "fun" song was taken "out of context," but later blogged a more sober mea culpa: "I am 100 percent against violence of any kind," Vinny posted. "I work with many organizations to stop violence and bullying, and will continue to.  It's something I strongly believe in. Very sorry to anyone I've offended."

Man Suing, Saying MTV Stole 'Jersey Shore' from Him

John Rogers/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- A man who claims he first had the idea for Jersey Shore is alleging in a lawsuit that MTV stole the concept from him, according to TMZ.com.

Bruce Hulse filed suit in Los Angeles Superior Court, making the claim that his production company set up a meeting with the cable network as early as 2006, at which he pitched an idea called Jersey Shore.

Hulse claims that he even showed a video to executives at MTV that featured “stereotypical young men and women from New Jersey who were spending their summer in and around the New Jersey shore and cities.”

He says that he was shocked to see a show similar to his idea when it first aired in 2009, claiming that MTV had “expressed interest” in his project, promising to pay him if it ever went ahead with the idea.

He is suing for unspecified damages.  MTV has yet to comment on the matter.

'The Situation' Sues Abercrombie & Fitch, Claiming Trademark Infringement

ABC News(NEW YORK) -- "The Situation's" relationship with Abercrombie & Fitch hasn't improved much in the last three months.

Jersey Shore star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is now suing the clothing retailer, which in August offered him and his co-stars a "substantial payment" to stop wearing its clothes.

According to TMZ.com, Sorrentino claims Abercrombie & Fitch violated his trademarks on two fronts: by making the highly publicized proposal, and by selling T-shirts that feature phrases such as "The Fitchuation" and "GTL...You Know The Deal."  He seeks at least $4 million in damages.

TMZ.com reported in September that "The Situation's" lawyers sent a cease-and-desist letter to Abercrombie & Fitch over the T-shirts in question.

'Jersey Shore' Star Snooki Considering a 'Boob Job'

ABC Television Network(NEW YORK) -- Jersey Shore cast member Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi would love to get a breast implants, but she told Access Hollywood she's afraid to undergo the procedure.

Snooki explained that her roommate Jenni "JWoww" Farley's chest has inspired her. She said, "I actually want to get a boob job because I love Jenni's boobs.  Everyone I've ever known who has had boob jobs says it's awesome!"

But Snooki's fear of being awake during the surgery has prevented her from undergoing the knife.  She noted, "I'm scared because if I go under anesthesia, I'm scared I'm going to be awake the whole time."

In the meantime, Snooki has found a good solution to her boob problem.  She suggests that women wear two bras to "make it look like you have fake boobies if you're scared to get surgery or don't want to." On this past season of Jersey Shore, Snooki admitted she's self conscious because one of her breasts is larger than the other.

Want to Rent the 'Jersey Shore' House?

Gustavo Caballero/Getty Images(SEASIDE HEIGHTS, N.J.) -- If your idea of a weekend getaway involves a little gym, tan and laundry, pull out your plastic for this one.  The owner of the house that Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and the rest of the Jersey Shore crew call home is available for rental.

Actually, the Seaside Heights, N.J., home has been available for rental since the show began -- available, that is, when the crew's not crashing there while Jersey Shore's in production.  It's not cheap, though: the rental price for the six bedroom, three bath residence is $2,500 a night.  Even so, that's a steal compared to its original $3,500-per-night cost.

'Jersey Shore' Couple Ronnie and Sammi -- Off Again

David Livingston/Getty Images(PARIS) -- It seems that the romance of Florence, Italy, has not lasted for Jersey Shore couple Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Sammi Giancola. The fiery pair has once again called an end to their relationship. Ronnie confirmed to Us Weekly that it's over after two turbulent years, saying, “We are not together.”

Ortiz-Magro’s pal on the show, Paul “Pauly D” Del Vecchio, says that he likes a single Ronnie: “When he’s doing his relationship thing, I let him do his thing, I don’t get involved. When he’s with Sammi he’s a different person. She’s a difficult woman!”

Ronnie and Sammi had an explosive moment on Jersey Shore’s third season in fall 2010 when he stomped on her glasses and called her a “spoiled b***h,” which led to a breakup. However the pair got back together again for season four, filmed in Italy.

'Jersey Shore's' 'The Situation' Sues Website over Use of 'GTL' Catchphrase

ABC/GREG ZABILSKI(LOS ANGELES) -- Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is protective of his brand. Case in point: he's suing a website for using his catchphrase "GTL" -- for those of you who don't watch Jersey Shore, it stands for "gym, tan, laundry" -- to peddle energy shots and other products, according to TMZ.com.

He'd previously sent MyGTLFuel.com a cease-and-desist letter. The owner of the website argues to TMZ that "The Situation's" case is without merit because he's yet to obtain a trademark for "GTL."

Last month, TMZ.com reported that "The Situation's" lawyers sent a cease-and-desist letter to clothing retailer Abercrombie & Fitch, ordering it to stop selling T-shirts that parody Jersey Shore with phrases such as "The Fitchuation." The letter followed Abercrombie & Fitch's well-publicized offer to pay "The Situation" to not wear its clothes.

The source says Pauly's line will be sold in high-end professional salons, and the products are expected to be released in the next two months.

'The Situation' Parks in Handicapped Spot and Gets Caught

Jason Kempin/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino parked in a handicapped spot on Tuesday, and he didn't get away with it.

TMZ.com reports the Jersey Shore star parked his Ferrari in a handicapped space at a New Jersey bank.  It became a problem when a handicapped person arrived and had to park elsewhere, in a moment captured on video.

A source says, "Sitch was in a rush to get to the bank before closing time because he is only in town for a few days -- and in his haste he did a sloppy parking job."

The source adds that "The Situation" "understands that's not an excuse."

Jersey Shore’s Sammi: The Sweetest ACTRESS You’ll Ever Meet?

ABC News Radio(NEW YORK) -- Jersey Shore’s Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola is branching out.

“To be honest, I’m focusing on me and my brand and wherever that takes me,” the 24-year-old Hazlet, N.J., native tells ABC News Radio.

And where it’s taking her – for now – is on a press tour promoting her new perfume, “Dangerous.”

“It’s something that I worked really long and hard on, and it’s something I’m extremely proud of and I put a lot of heart and soul into it, and I love it.”

[LISTEN TO THE FULL INTERVIEW WITH JERSEY SHORE'S SAMMI "SWEETHEART" GIANCOLA]

Giancola says she really wants to be an entrepreneur.

“I just want to get into clothing and things that I really love,” she said.

But what the self-proclaimed “sweetest bitch you’ll ever meet” is truly interested in -- beyond her role on MTV’s wildly-popular reality series Jersey Shore -- is acting.

“It wasn’t until ... I did a [6 Hour Power] commercial and ... some other things like The Three Stooges ... that I really got a taste of it and I really loved it,” she said. “And now I’m like, ‘Wow, maybe I should think about this,’ because it came easy to me."

“I loved it!” Sammi said, referring to her on-screen cameos. “So, why not do something that I love?”

Giancola says her inspiration to act comes from Angelina Jolie because, “she just does a lot.”

“I like her movies that she does. I like her as an actress. She’s involved in a lot of charities. I like the life that she lives,” Sammi said.

Giancola’s life has been on full display since the series debuted in December 2009 -- and her on-again, off-again relationship with Jersey Shore co-star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro has been one of the show's most galvanizing plot points.

If you’re wondering whether the pair is still together – spoiler alert – they are, indeed.

“We both kind of grew up and became adults,” Giancola told ABC News Radio. “Towards the end of Italy we really made it work. We were able to communicate. We got over the fighting issue.  We kind of really figured out what we wanted in our lives.”

Jersey Shore fans will see the two together in season five, but the drama, she reveals, will shift away from her own relationship and onto others.

“The drama’s really going to unfold on some other people and it’s going to be very dramatic.”

Giancola says she’s aware of the reputation she and her castmates have now, based on their on-screen portrayal -- and that, she says, is just fine.

“That show makes everybody look bad at times, including myself, and it makes me look pretty bad,” she admits. “Let’s be honest – it makes me look pretty bad, but I go with it because that’s what I chose to do and that’s me.”
