Jesse Eisenberg Says New Film '30 Minutes or Less' Is 'Funny' and 'Unique'

ABC News(NEW YORK) -- Jesse Eisenberg says his latest film isn't a typical comedy. In 30 Minutes or Less, opening Friday, he plays a pizza delivery guy who's forced by two criminals to rob a bank. He says he was drawn to the script because it had something he feels a lot of comedies don't: "It featured these real characters and real relationships and yet the movie is really funny and the plot is really unique."

30 Minutes or Less is Eisenberg's first live-action film since his Oscar-nominated turn as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network. The real Zuckerberg joined him on an episode of Saturday Night Live early this year, and Eisenberg says the billionaire handled himself well. The 27-year-old Eisenberg says, "Here's a guy who is my age and has a movie made about his life that maybe said some controversial things about the origin of his wonderful idea and he dealt with it as sweetly and honorably as you can deal with something like that."

Even though The Social Network established Eisenberg as one of Hollywood's hottest young actors, he says he tries to avoid media attention, so much so that he doesn't own a TV. He explains, "I just get really frightened about all the gossip stuff and somebody writing that I was at a coffee shop. All that stuff is terrifying to me because it's distracting from what I'd like to do."

Jamie Foxx Hopes to Produce, Direct Jesse Eisenberg in New Movie

ABC News(NEW YORK) -- Jamie Foxx and Jesse Eisenberg lend their voices to the animated film Rio, opening Friday, but Foxx is hoping it won't be the last time the two work together.

Foxx is hoping to collaborate with The Social Network star again on a movie from his new production company, No Brainer.

Foxx said, "I got my fingers crossed that he will accept and we'll do something fantastic together and I'll be on the other side of the camera producing and possibly directing him in this really, really clever movie that I have."

Foxx's production company also recently shot what he calls a "teaser pilot" for NBC titled Tommy's Little Girl, starring Selma Blair, Tony Sirico and Paul Sorvino.  Foxx calls the project his "video business card" that will allow him to establish himself as a producer. ´╗┐

Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg Stops by 'SNL'

Photo Courtesy - NICHOLAS KAMM/AFP/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Mark Zuckerberg surprised the Saturday Night Live audience this week when he joined guest host Jesse Eisenberg -- who played the Facebook co-founder in a not-so-flattering light in The Social Network -- for the show's opening monologue.

"Have you two not met? Awkward!" asked SNL's Andy Samberg, who was dressed as Zuckerberg, before leaving the stage.

"Did you ever end up seeing the film?" asked Eisenberg, who is nominated for a best actor Oscar for his portrayal. "What did you think?"

"It was interesting," said Zuckerberg with his teeth clenched.

"Interesting? I'll take it!" Eisenberg shot back.

In the past Zuckerberg has called the critically-acclaimed film "fiction."

"But, you know, I mean, the real story of Facebook is just that we've worked so hard for all this time. I mean, the real story is actually probably pretty boring, right? I mean, we just sat at our computers for six years and coded."

The Social Network is nominated for eight Academy Awards, which will be broadcast live Feb. 27 on ABC.
