Report: A Fortune in Jewelry Swiped from Julianne Moore's Home

ABC/MATT BROWN(NEW YORK) -- Julianne Moore personally carried her shiny new Emmy award statuette in a paper bag to keep it safe on a recent flight, but a New York Post story claims the actress should have been equally protective of her bling at home.

Nearly $130,000 worth of jewelry was reportedly swiped from Moore's New York City apartment, the paper notes.  Ten missing items include a $33,000 platinum Cartier tennis bracelet, as well as four watches from the high-end retailer priced at nearly $80,000.

The Post reports workmen had easy access to the Oscar winner's West Village brownstone for nearly two months over the summer while renovations were underway.

Moore was in Toronto at the time the bling went missing.

Jonathan Leibson/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Lindsay Lohan must be experiencing déjà vu.  The Mean Girls star, who's on informal probation in connection with a 2011 stolen necklace case, is considered a suspect in another jewelry theft, according to

The website previously reported that Lohan was interviewed by police about a week ago after she attended a get-together and slept at a Hollywood Hills home whose owner claimed that expensive jewelry had been stolen from him.

Last year, Lohan pleaded no contest to misdemeanor grand theft after she was accused of stealing a necklace from a Venice, Calif., jewelry store.

Meanwhile, TMZ is also reporting that the Santa Monica Police Department suspects Lohan lied to them about the circumstances of her rear-ending a semi truck back in June.

Lohan reportedly told officers she wasn't behind the wheel -- but the gossip site says cops are "convinced" she was.  If she is found to have been lying to cops, she could face a year in jail, TMZ reports.

“I already have jobs planned for afterwards, so hopefully will be back in shape,” she told British Vogue.

Ambrosio, who already has a daughter Anja, revealed last month on Facebook that she and her husband are expecting a boy, writing, “We really tried to keep it a surprise but we were too anxious! Soon, we will have a little boy to rock our world!!”

Paris Hilton Sued over Stolen Jewels

Marcel Thomas/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- "They're hot." That's the Paris Hilton-esque assessment from an insurance company now suing Hilton over more than $60,000 worth of once-stolen bling it says the socialite hasn't returned. The pricey items were lent to Hilton by jeweler Damiani back in 2007, but were swiped during a robbery at Hilton's home in 2008.

The police recovered the items after busting up a high-profile robbery ring in 2009. Cops gave the treasures back to Hilton, but Allianz Global insurers say Hilton never returned the items to Damiani. The lawsuit claims she's ignored the insurance company's requests to return the items.

Report: Lindsay Lohan Offered 60 to 90 Days in Jail

AL SEIB/AFP/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- The judge presiding over Lindsay Lohan's grand theft case has reportedly told the actress he would sentence her to 60 to 90 days in jail if she accepted a plea deal. Lohan's latest legal trouble stems from accusations she stole a necklace valued at $2,500 from a Venice, California jewelry store Jan. 22.

RadarOnline reports a source close to the situation says Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz has told the Mean Girls star she would serve the sentence in county jail.

Judge Schwartz told Lohan at a hearing last week that she has until March 23 to take a plea deal.  If she does, she would plead guilty or no contest to a grand theft charge at a March 25 hearing.

Lohan has previously indicated she will not accept a plea deal.  If she doesn't change her mind, a hearing will be held April 22, during which another judge will determine if there's enough evidence for the star to stand trial for allegedly stealing the pricey piece of jewelry.

The judge would also determine whether the alleged theft violated the terms of Lohan's probation in her 2007 DUI cases.  She could face up to three years in state prison if convicted.
