(NEW YORK) -- Source Code stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Colter Stevens, a fighter pilot who finds himself as the main cog in a top-secret government operation to figure out who blew up a Chicago commuter train. How? By sending Coulter back in time, sort of, onto the train and assuming the identity of one of the victims. Back on the train, he has eight minutes to figure out who planted the bomb. Like Groundhog Day, he gets to relive the scenario over and over again, until he figures it out. Directed by Duncan Jones, son of rock legend David Bowie and who also directed Moon, Source Code is an intensely entertaining sci-fi thriller.
Four out of five stars.
