"Dancing with the Stars" Recap: Joey Fatone Eliminated

ABC/ADAM TAYLOR(LOS ANGELES) -- Joey Fatone apparently wasn't in sync with Dancing with the Stars viewers.  The former 'NSYNC singer and his partner, Kym Johnson, were eliminated from the ABC competition's all-star season on Tuesday night.

Fatone seemed almost indifferent about the outcome of the results show, saying, "As long as I had fun, I don't care what your votes say."

Twenty-four hours earlier, Fatone and Johnson danced a silent film-inspired quickstep.  It's clear the viewers' votes -- or the relative lack thereof -- were Fatone's undoing, because he ranked ahead of Kelly Monaco, Kirstie Alley, and last-place celebrity Bristol Palin on the leader board.

Fatone and Johnson were joined by Helio Castroneves and Chelsie Hightower in the bottom two on Tuesday night, but the race car driver and his partner will return to the ballroom next week.

The results show welcomed back past contestant Katherine Jenkins, who duetted with fellow opera singer Placido Domingo on his song "Come What May."  Nineteen-year-old British pop star Cher Lloyd was also on hand to perform her single "Want U Back."

The competition resumes Monday on ABC.  As revealed by host Tom Bergeron on the results show, two couples will go home next week.

Joey Fatone Starts Twitter Campaign for 'N SYNC Glee Tribute Show

Photo Courtesy - Sony Music Entertainment'N SYNC's Joey Fatone has started a Twitter campaign to get his group's music on Fox's show Glee, and his own self on it, too, in a cameo appearance.  He wrote last Tuesday night, "Glee was good, but I think my [expletive] needs to get on that show and be a teacher, or something in the background!" He then urged his fans, "Let @GleeonFox know how you feel...either do an 'N SYNC ep, or have me on there.  That would be a blast!"

Fatone told People magazine, "I mentioned it on Twitter and everyone is re-tweeting it, and saying, 'That would be great!'  I love acting and I like to sing.  It'd be perfect!"  As for what 'N SYNC songs should appear on the show, Joey tells People that "Bye Bye Bye' and "It's Gonna Be Me" are likely candidates, but adds, "You never know...they can go so many ways to tell their stories with our songs."
