(LOS ANGELES) -- Keira Knightley could put the "knight" in The Dark Knight sequel. The Hollywood Reporter says she's set to audition for a role in the sequel to The Dark Knight sometime in the next two weeks.
Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel and 127 Hours actress Kata Mara are also expected to test for unspecified roles in The Dark Knight Rises, which will open in July of 2012.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, there will be two significant female roles in the film, one of which is Talia, the daughter of Ra's al Ghul, the villain portrayed by Liam Neeson in Batman Begins. Talia is also a love interest for Batman and the mother of his son.
The Dark Knight Rises, which will again star Christian Bale as Batman, could start filming in May.
