Katherine Heigl Adopts Second Baby

ABC/RANDY HOLMES(LOS ANGELES) -- Katherine Heigl and her husband, Josh Kelley, have adopted another daughter, according to The couple, who adopted 3-year-old Naleigh in 2009, has been outspoken about having more children.

“I used to want like six kids,” the former Grey’s Anatomy star told Ellen DeGeneres in January. But she decided that "three to four kids" was probably more like it.

The 33-year-old actress has said that growing up with an adopted sister made her want to adopt a baby of her own.  She told Scholastic magazine in January 2012 that she discussed adoption with her now-musician-husband, Josh Kelley, 32, before they got engaged.  “My sister Meg is Korean, and my parents adopted her three years before I was born. I wanted my own family to resemble the one I came from, so I always knew I wanted to adopt from Korea,” Heigl said. “We have talked about having biological children as well, but we decided to adopt first. I just wanted to be a mom. So however we do that, it’s fine with me.”

Katherine Heigl Kisses and Tells

ABC/ANDREW WALKER(LOS ANGELES) -- Making Out With Jon Bon Jovi Was “nerve-wracking,” says Katherine Heigl.

In the upcoming movie New Year’s Eve, Jon Bon Jovi plays a rock star and Katherine Heigl plays his former love interest.

According to Heigl, there’s definitely some smooching going on between them onscreen — but it wasn’t exactly romantic.

She tells E! Online that in the film she plays “a young woman who’s a caterer, and she’s catering the New Year’s Eve party and event” while Bon Jovi plays her “big, famous musician ex-fiance who comes back into town to sort of win me back.”

In the trailer for the film, Heigl is seen slapping Bon Jovi across the face numerous times, but she evidently has a change of heart. “Yes, I made out with him!” Heigl tells E! Online.

So, what was it like locking lips with the guy who’s haunted the dreams of millions of women since the eighties?  “It’s always so nerve-wracking,” reveals Heigl. “There’s all the giggles and there's all the Altoid popping.”

Still, it was a good experience. She says of him, “He’s just a gem.  One of the nicest guys ever.”

New Year’s Eve, which also stars Ashton Kutcher, Hilary Swank, Lea Michele, Zac Efron, Josh Duhamel, Robert DeNiro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry and many other stars, will be in theaters December 9.
