Testimony 'Reveals' Faked Proposal, Other Scenes in "Kardashians"

Denise Truscello/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- It's perhaps a surprise to no one, but sworn testimony in the Kris Humphries/Kim Kardashian divorce case from a Keeping Up with the Kardashians producer indicates several scenes of the reality show were faked.

While some producers of "unscripted" shows occasionally re-do scenes for various reasons, Life & Style magazine reports a deposition reveals major sequences -- including Humphries' proposal to Kardashian, and her "crying" about a rough spot in their 72-day marriage -- were as phony as Kardashian's eyelashes are.

As part of his fraud lawsuit against Kardashian, lawyers for Humphries took a deposition from Keeping Up producer Russell Jay last month, and he reportedly admitted Kardashian didn't expect the NBA star to pop the question to her, and as such, she didn't like her impromptu reaction.

She allegedly requested another take, saying, "Can we just like, have me come back in one more time and be, like, really surprised?"

Jay also stated in the deposition that a tear-filled heart-to-heart between Kardashian and her mom, Kris Jenner, about the difficulty of the new marriage was actually shot after she filed for divorce in 2011, and the tears may have been prompted by a chemical irritant tool called a "tear stick."

The magazine quotes a "pal" of the NBA star as saying, "Kris feels vindicated...This will prove how fake Kim and the show are."

Kardashian, now pregnant with Kanye West's baby, is expected to provide sworn testimony in a deposition in the case in two weeks.

Divorce Trial Date Set for Kim Kardashian and Her Ex

Jerritt Clark/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Kim Kardashian is one step closer to a divorce from her estranged husband, Kris Humphries.

On Friday, a Los Angeles judge set a divorce trial date of May 6, according to E! Online.  The trial is expected to last three to five days.

The Brooklyn Nets forward unsuccessfully attempted to delay the trial until after his basketball season is over.

Humphries has sought to have the marriage annulled, claiming that Kardashian married him for publicity.  The reality TV star has denied the allegation.

Humphries was represented in court Friday by attorney Marshall Waller, who filed paperwork the day before to withdraw from the case.  It appears he is still representing Humphries.

Kardashian and Humphries have been ordered to appear in person for a settlement conference on April 12.

Kardashian filed for divorce in late October of 2011, 72 days after she tied the knot with Humphries.

The trial will take place approximately two months before Kardashian is expected to give birth to her first child with rapper Kanye West.

Lawyer for Kim Kardashian's Ex Quits Divorce Case

Jerritt Clark/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Kim Kardashian was hoping to divorce her estranged husband as soon as possible, but the proceedings have hit a legal speed bump.

Court documents obtained by TMZ.com indicate Kris Humphries no longer has the services of his attorney, Marshall Waller.

In the documents, which were filed by Waller, the lawyer claims he is no longer on the same page as the NBA player and the pair has experienced an "irremediable breakdown of the attorney-client relationship."

Waller filed documents earlier this month in which he stated that Humphries doesn't want to rush the divorce trial despite a purported urgency on Kardashian's part because of her "apparently unplanned pregnancy."

Kardashian, who's expecting her first child with rapper Kanye West, filed for divorce in late October of 2011, 72 days after she tied the knot with Humphries.

Kim Kardashian Wants to Speed Up Divorce Due to Unborn Baby's Health

Don Arnold/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- In the latest in Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' divorce proceedings, the reality star is claiming that the lengthy court negotiations are harming her baby.

TMZ reports that Kardashian filed new legal documents claiming the slow divorce process is hindering her health and "...the health and well-being of my unborn child."  She also said she wants to speed up the divorce process as it "will help create a new, full life for me."

In an earlier report, TMZ claimed that Humphries was in no rush to finalize the divorce.

In a court filing obtained by the website, a lawyer for the Brooklyn Nets basketball player argued, "What is really going on here is that an 'urgency' in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something [Humphries] had nothing to do with, is perceived by [Kim] as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial."

The attorney reportedly also wondered, "Indeed, why would [Kim] plan to get pregnant in the midst of divorce proceedings?"

Kardashian initially filed for divorce in late October of 2011, 72 days after she tied the knot with Humphries.

Kim Kardashian's Ex Doesn't Want Divorce Trial Rushed Due to Pregnancy

Jerritt Clark/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Kim Kardashian's pregnancy has become an issue in her lengthy divorce proceedings with her estranged husband, Kris Humphries.

The reality star, who's expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West, wants the divorce trial to take place as soon as possible.  However, Humphries doesn't seem to be in a rush.

In a court filing obtained by TMZ.com, a lawyer for the Brooklyn Nets basketball player argues, "What is really going on here is that an 'urgency' in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something [Humphries] had nothing to do with, is perceived by [Kim] as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial."

The attorney reportedly also asks, "Indeed, why would [Kim] plan to get pregnant in the midst of divorce proceedings?"

Humphries says he wants to be present for Kardashian's deposition but is unavailable until mid-May at the earliest due to his commitment to the Nets.

Kardashian filed for divorce in late October of 2011, 72 days after she tied the knot with Humphries.

Kim Talks Marriage, Kourtney Disses Kris Humphries, on "Letterman"

Stuart Wilson/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Kim and Kourtney Kardashian appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman Wednesday evening, and not surprisingly, Kim's marriage to Kris Humphries and her new pregnancy with Kanye West's baby took center stage.

On her mega-hyped marriage, Kim told Letterman he and other comics need to stop poking fun at her brief marriage -- because she's technically still married.

"Those jokes really can't work, because I've really been married for almost two years.  So, it hasn't been 72 days, it's been almost two years, so those jokes have to stop," she said.

The couple isn't divorced, because Humphries wants an annulment, claiming Kim committed fraud, tying the knot only to reap the rewards of a reality ratings bonanza.

Kourtney was quick to jump in, sniping, "...If she was going to do it for publicity, she'd pick someone that people knew."

As for her baby-to-be, Kim said the due date is in July, and while she doesn't yet know the sex, she's "dying to find out."

Kim Kardashian Divorce Drags On

Denise Truscello/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Looks like Kim Kardashian’s divorce won’t be finalized any time soon; attorneys for her estranged husband want to interview the reality star’s mom and current boyfriend, Kanye West, before setting a trial date.

An attorney for NBA star Kris Humphries told Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephen Moloney during a hearing Monday that it would be at least four months before he could complete discovery and depositions, and be ready for trial. He said Kardashian’s side hadn’t exactly sped things along.

“I don’t want to use the word ‘uncooperative,’ but they are not making the process easier,” Humphries’ attorney, Marshall Waller, told the judge, according to E!.

Waller said he had requested but has yet to obtain business records from Kris Jenner, Kardashian’s mom. He said he wouldn’t depose Jenner until he received the records.

Waller is seeking the information from companies that produce Kardashian’s reality shows in an effort to prove the couple’s 72-day marriage was a fraud.

Among the 33 witnesses he plans to depose is rapper Kanye West.

According to E!, Kardashian’s attorney, Laura Wasser, complained to the judge that West was served with a summons from Humphries’ attorneys by a, "strange individual outside my client’s house," saying "he had a box for Mr. West."

Wasser said it was unnecessary, since she would have gladly given the name of West’s attorney to Waller.

"To say I am frustrated is an understatement," Wasser told the judge, according to E! “I’m at a loss to figure out what the holdup is. They had a prenup and were married 72 days.”

Wasser said Kardashian had already incurred $250,000 in legal fees, which she plans to bill to Humphries.

"We are going to ask for every cent of those fees back from his client," Wasser told the judge, according to E!. "To what end does he want this annulment?"

The couple was married in August 2011. Kardashian filed for divorce on Oct. 31, citing irreconcilable differences and noting that there was a prenuptial agreement. A month later, Humphries requested a legal separation or an annulment, making no mention of a prenup.

Kim Kardashian's Divorce Gets Nasty

Jerritt Clark/WireImage(MINNEAPOLIS) -- The drama surrounding Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' divorce has lasted a lot longer than their 72-day marriage.

On Monday, the reality TV star's legal team began grilling Humphries in Minneapolis. The NBA player, 27, has accused Kardashian, 31, of defrauding him by marrying him solely for TV ratings and publicity. The former couple's depositions are reportedly being videotaped, and once they are both completed, a date for their divorce trial will be set.

The two signed a pre-nup and both exchanged declarations of disclosure, which could call Humphries' accusations into question.

Meanwhile, according to TMZ, Humphries suspects that Kardashian was cheating on him with current boyfriend Kanye West because West wasn't invited to their August 2011 wedding.

Kim Kardashian Had Relationship with Kanye West During Marriage?

Eric Ryan/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Kris Humphries reportedly told his ex-girlfriend, Myla Sinanaj, that he suspected Kim Kardashian had hooked up with Kanye West behind his back during their relationship because the rap star was not present at their wedding.

Sources close to Sinanaj tell TMZ that Humphries told her that Kardashian's mom, Kris Jenner, had previously referred to West as a “close family friend” and a longtime friend of Kardashian.

Humphries reportedly told Sinanaj, “If he was such a close family friend, why wasn’t he invited to the wedding?”

The sources claim that Humphries “felt played” by the affair and was devastated when the news of Kardashian’s relationship with West first broke.  He was also “visibly upset” when West released his song about dating Kardashian.

Kris Humphries: Kim Kardashian's Mom Directed Her to Shoot Sex Tape

Jerritt Clark/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Kris Humphries trashed Kim Kardashian and her family in text messages he sent to his ex-girlfriend, Myla Sinanaj, TMZ reports.

According to the website, in the text conversations, Humphries alleges Kardashian's mom, Kris Jenner, directed her daughter to make that now infamous sex tape, and told her to re-shoot it because the first take wasn’t “pretty enough.”

Sources tell TMZ Humphries is lying about the sex tape, claiming that Kardashian made it clear at the beginning of their relationship that she wouldn’t discuss the tape with him for fear of being judged on its content.

Kardashian’s sister, Khloe Kardashian, says Humphries' allegation that her mom ordered the sex tape is "disgusting and disturbing, and probably his fantasy!”

Sources tell TMZ Sinanaj also has numerous text messages in which Humphries calls her the love of his life and he wants to get a quick divorce from Kardashian, so they can spend “the rest of their time on earth together.”  Kardashian has subpoenaed Sinanaj in her divorce case from the NBA star, reports TMZ.

Other text messages have Humphries stating he has “moved on” from Kardashian, which could be damaging to his case in the divorce because he alleges the split has “destroyed him emotionally.”
