Kim Kardashian Addresses Kanye West Dating Rumors, Divorce on "Today"

David Livingston/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Kim Kardashian had the Internet buzzing last week when rumors swirled that the still-married reality star was dating Kanye West.  And West, known for stirring up controversy, didn't help the chatter when he released a song titled "Theraflu," in which he admitted that he "fell in love with Kim."

Kardashian sat down Friday with Today's Ann Curry to address the rumors, dish the latest on her impending divorce to NBA player Kris Humphries and describe how she felt when she was flour bombed by a purported PETA activist for wearing fur.

"Kanye and I have been friends for years," Kardashian admitted.  "You know, you never know what the future holds or where my life will take me.  So...I like the song!"

The song, which debuted last Wednesday night and is part of West's upcoming solo album, also makes reference to Kardashian's estranged husband.  West raps: "Lucky I ain’t have Jay drop him from the team," referring to friend Jay-Z, who is part-owner of the New Jersey Nets, Humphries' team.

Kardashian also explained why she refuses to grant her husband an annulment, which he pursued because he claims the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star defrauded him.

Kardashian explained, "I'm sure I would love one myself, but you know, there's certain guidelines on how you can get one and I'm not sure that we fall under that."

If her relationship troubles weren't enough, Kardashian also addressed being flour bombed by a woman named Christina Cho, a purported active member of PETA, last month while promoting her new perfume.

"It's just a little odd to me that their whole message is non-violence towards animals, yet they are being violent towards humans.  I don't think that assaulting someone is appropriate at all," Kardashian said.

A new season of Keeping up with the Kardashians premieres on May 20 at 9 p.m. ET on E!

Kim Kardashian to Keep Future Romances Away from TV

Denise Truscello/WireImage(LONDON) -- Kim Kardashian, who married her now-estranged husband Kris Humphries in a high-profile reality TV special last year, says she'll keep her romantic life away from the cameras going forward.

Kardashian reportedly tells the British edition of Cosmopolitan magazine, "I wouldn't have another relationship shown on the show.  That might be too personal, especially when you're just meeting someone."

The reality TV star's philosophy on love has changed since she split from Humphries last October.

She says, "I think you have different soul mates throughout your life. ...I do believe in love.  I will always believe in love, but my idea has changed from what I've always thought."

Kardashian says she's "not even close" to dating someone new right now.

Kris Humphries to Represent Himself in Kim Kardashian Divorce Proceedings

Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Kris Humphries has decided to represent himself during proceedings to legally split from soon-to-be ex-wife Kim Kardashian, according to legal documents obtained by  And it's not entirely by choice.

Originally, Humphries, a basketball player who makes $8 million per year, planned to be represented by his Minnesota lawyer. Even so, according to California law, an out-of-state lawyer must have an attorney licensed in California present in court. So when Kris' L.A.-based co-counsel dropped the case, Humphries' Minnesota lawyer was left without a sponsor and therefore couldn't represent Humphries.

The New Jersey Nets player will now reportedly be going it alone against expert divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who has represented celebrities including Jennifer Aniston, Angelina Jolie, Britney Spears and Stevie Wonder.

Kardashian filed for divorce on Oct. 31, 2011, after only 72 days of marriage to Humphries. Their wedding was televised in a two-part E! reality special.

Kim Kardashian Keeps Wedding Gifts, Makes Charitable Donation Instead

Don Arnold/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Rather than return her wedding gifts to her guests following her brief marriage to Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian is showing her appreciation by making a charitable donation on their behalf.

The reality TV star, who was married to Humphries for a total of 72 days before filing for divorce last October, has informed the guests of her decision in a letter obtained by

Kardashian wrote, "I would like to thank you for your generous and thoughtful wedding gift. It has taken me some time to pull everything together but I wanted to let you know that the money for every gift received by me at my wedding has been donated to the Dream Foundation."

TMZ reports that Kardashian is donating about 200 thousand dollars, or twice the estimated value of the gifts. Sources tell the website that Humphries would prefer she return the gifts in addition to making the donation.

Kim Kardashian: Marriage Was a 'Bad Business Decision'

Don Arnold/WireImage(NEW YORK) -- Kim Kardashian was Kelly Ripa's co-host on Live! with Kelly Monday morning, and the reality show starlet didn't shy away from questions about her divorce from Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage.

A public backlash centered on the fact that the whole $10 million event -- which was rumored to net the couple millions thanks to E! special airings -- seemed like a sham.

"I really didn't think following my heart would lead to this much backlash," Kardashian admitted.

She explained if the wedding was a business decision, it was a bad one.  Apparently, it tarnished the Kardashian brand -- as evidenced by recent stories of ratings drop-offs for anything to do with the reality show clan.

"Me being such a hopeless romantic I wanted to believe in something so badly," Kardashian said. "If this was a business decision, and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding...I'm a smart businesswoman.  I would have stayed married longer.  This was a bad business decision."

Exclusive: Kris Humphries on Divorce: ‘You’ve Got to Move Forward’

ABC News(NEW YORK) -- While the whirlwind of the celebrity force known as Kardashian continues to swirl around him, Kris Humphries says he’s staying on a clear message: family and basketball.

“For me, it’s just certain things happen in life and you’ve got to move forward,” the 26-year-old NBA star said on ABC’s Good Morning America on Friday, referring to the court battle and media frenzy surrounding his divorce from reality TV star Kim Kardashian.

“Through everything I’m just focused on family and preparing for basketball,” he said.  “Basketball has always been something I’ve taken really serious and I continue to do that and I’m just moving forward.”

The two were married for just 72 days before Kardashian, 31, issued a press statement Oct. 31 announcing she was filing for divorce.  The move was said to have blindsided Humphries, who responded with a statement of his own, saying, “I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce.”

In his first public comments since releasing that statement, Humphries declined to say whether or not he still loves Kardashian.

“I’m focused on just what I can control,” he said. “I don’t really play into all the gossip and things that take place, but that’s life.”

“I’ve been doing a lot of things with my foundation and spending time with my family and working on my game,” Humphries, who does not currently have a contract with an NBA team, said of his life post-Kardashian. “Hopefully I’ll be on a team soon and get ready to go.”

Last week, he responded to his wife’s divorce filing by filing for an annulment of their marriage in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing “fraud” as the reason.  While some sources say Humphries simply wants to start his life anew, others say he wants the extensive confidentiality contract in the couple’s prenuptial agreement voided so that he can talk freely about the relationship.

Kris Humphries Wants Marriage to Kim Kardashian Annulled

Jerritt Clark/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Kris Humphries does not want to divorce Kim Kardashian. He wants their marriage to be annulled instead.

People magazine reports the NBA player filed court documents Wednesday seeking an annulment of the couple's brief marriage.  Humphries cites "fraud" as the reason for his request.  Some critics of the Kardashian family have speculated that the marriage was a publicity stunt -- one that generated tens of millions of dollars for the blushing bride who ended the relationship 72 days after the wedding.

There were rumors last month that Humphries was refusing to sign divorce papers.  His filing indicates that he will seek a legal separation if his request for an annulment is rejected.

The 31-year-old Kardashian filed for divorce from the 26-year-old Humphries on Oct. 31.

Report: Kris Humphries Won't Sue over 'Kourtney & Kim Take New York'

Jerritt Clark/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- A report saying that Kris Humphries is planning on filing a 10-million-dollar lawsuit against his estranged wife Kim Kardashian is false, says TMZ.

Sources close to Kris say the celebrity ex-couple has a “cordial” relationship, but that he is also worried that new episodes of the reality show Kourtney & Kim Take New York will make him look worse than he really is. However, any reports of him making a claim against the show are false, says TMZ.

Meanwhile, speculation surrounding the airing of a purported Kardashian Christmas special is unfounded, says The Hollywood Reporter. Despite rumors that the backlash against the family led E! to cancel a Kardashian holiday special, a spokesperson for the cable network says that any rumor of such a show is “completely false,” and that "this special was never on the schedule.”

Kim Kardashian Sued over Endorsement of Hair Removal Product

Don Arnold/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Kim Kardashian is being sued by a hair removal product company that claims she's made false statements while promoting a rival brand. reports the company, Radiancy, says Kardashian once claimed to have used a product by TRIA on her "entire body," even though TRIA has warned customers not to use its product on their face and other sensitive areas.

The lawsuit further states that Kardashian claimed just weeks after becoming a TRIA spokesperson that she was "loving the results" of its product.  Radiancy believes it was a misleading comment, since TRIA's website says results won't be apparent for at least 90 days after initial use of its product.

Radiancy is seeking unspecified damages in its lawsuit against Kardashian and TRIA.

News of the lawsuit comes amid a report stating that Kardashian is pursuing legal action against a man named Jonathan Jaxson, a former publicist who claims her wedding to Kris Humphries was a sham.  She seeks at least $200,000 in damages in that case for alleged defamation.

Kardashian is currently in the midst of a divorce from Humphries.

Kim Kardashian Hires Lawyer to Take on Ex-Publicist

Don Arnold/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Reality star Kim Kardashian is reportedly going after former publicist Jonathan Jaxson for making a statement claiming her fairy-tale wedding was done just for publicity.

According to, Kardashian -- who filed for divorce from NBA player Kris Humphries after only 72 days of marriage -- has hired attorney Marty Singer.

Jaxson, who is promoting a new book, has said in interviews that Kardashian’s nuptials were staged.  He has also claimed he staged another “news” stunt for her before.

Kardashian, 31, has faced heavy criticism for the quick divorce filing.  She has maintained that she married Humphries for love.

Singer told TMZ that Jaxson is simply chasing publicity for his new book.  The site also claims Singer submitted private legal papers to arbitration to have Jaxson cease his comments, and that Kardashian is apparently seeking at least $200,000 as payment for the damage to her reputation caused by Jaxson’s “allegedly defamatory statements.”

TMZ claims Jaxson violated a signed confidentiality agreement governing his work with Kardashian.

But on his own website Sunday, Jaxson claimed he has not been served any legal papers in connection with the matter, and added that there was no such agreement.

“To the best of my knowledge, I have never signed an agreement dealing with confidentiality with Kim Kardashian.  I have an agreement in my possession that does not have either parties (sic) signature on it,” he wrote.

He said his comments about Kardashian's wedding were based on his personal opinions after conversations with “mutual friends.”
