E! Execs Meet over Kardashian Series Following Kim's Divorce Announcement

Jerritt Clark/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- With Kim Kardashian announcing Monday that she'd filed for divorce from her husband of 10 weeks, Kris Humphries, what changes will be made to her E! reality series, if any? Executives and producers at the network met after the news broke to discuss that very question, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Currently, it doesn't appear as if the immediate aftermath of Kardashian's split from the NBA player will be filmed by the network. She and her sister Khloe were scheduled to travel to Australia this week on business, and E! has no plans to chronicle their adventures during their trip, according to the trade.

Filming has already been completed on new seasons of two Kardashian series, Kim and Kourtney Take New York and Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami. E! does not intend to shoot new footage for either series, even though the New York-based series features a story line in which Kardashian and Humphries decide to, in the words of a Hollywood Reporter source, "take a break."

Despite recent rumors that Kardashian had been experiencing marital problems, The Hollywood Reporter says E! executives were surprised by Monday's announcement.

Kim Kardashian Files for Divorce

Denise Truscello/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- The rumors are apparently true: Kim Kardashian and her NBA star hubby Kris Humphries have split. The couple, whose brief courtship and lavish wedding fueled ratings for E!'s Keeping Up with the Kardashians, have gone their separate ways, just 72 days after they tied the knot.

ABC News Radio obtained the following statement from Kardashian: "After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."

Kardashian and Humphries had been seen in public separately of late, sparking rumors things weren't as rosy as the events on Kim's reality show and the four-hour spin-off special Kim's Fairytale Wedding would have viewers believe.

She is citing the showbiz industry standard "irreconcilable differences" as the cause of the split, but in his own statement, Humphries seems to indicate he had no idea Kim's legal action was coming. "I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce. I'm committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to make it work."

Kim Kardashian's Marriage Already Coming to an End?

Jerritt Clark/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Kim Kardashian's fairy-tale marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries may have an unhappy ending.

Just two months after tying the knot, rumors are swirling that the two may split up.

Life & Style magazine reports Humphries, who currently is not playing professional basketball due to the NBA lockout, was recently spotted partying in three different locations in New York City while Kardashian was returning from a business trip in the Middle East.  At one of the locations, he was reportedly seen holding the hand of a woman who's said to be a friend of his sister.

Another sign that Kardashian's marriage is in trouble, according to Life & Style: she's already planning life without her husband.

A source connected to Kardashian's reality series Kourtney & Kim Take New York claims, "Kim's mapping out 2012, including holidays, and Kris isn't a part of it.  Any itineraries for the future don't include Kris very much."

The latest issue of Star magazine takes the speculation a step further.  It claims Kardashian caught Humphries flirting with two women, and that she may have consulted a divorce lawyer.

Kardashian and Humphries got engaged in May and married in August, and naturally, a reality show crew was on hand. Their wedding aired as an E! special titled Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event.

Kim Kardashian's Husband Flies with Her Sex Tape Co-Star

David Livingston/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Kim Kardashian’s new hubby, Kris Humphries, had an awkward experience Sunday on a Delta Airlines flight to New Orleans when he discovered Ray J, his wife’s ex and the co-star of her sex tape, seated across from him in first class, the New York Post reports.

The flight originated in Los Angeles, but Humphries boarded in Minneapolis and sat across from the rapper for several minutes before moving to a seat in front of him.

A source tells the newspaper Ray J approached Humphries and congratulated him on his marriage to Kardashian, but Humphries acted like he didn’t recognize the singer.

According to the source, “Ray J said, ‘Come on, you know who I am.  I just want to say congratulations.’  Humphries finally broke down and said, 'Oh, yeah, yeah.  I’m sorry.  I know who you are.'"

ABC News Radio has learned a mystery buyer is reportedly offering Vivid Entertainment "a large sum" to buy the Kim Kardashian sex tape and get it off the market.

Vivid recently confirmed to ABC News Radio that KimKSuperstar.com, the website for its movie, saw a massive spike in traffic before and after the wedding, with roughly two million people checking out KimKSuperstar.com last weekend.  The site usually sees a fraction of that traffic, or about 300,000 unique visitors per month.

Kim Kardashian Cashes In Big on Wedding to Kris Humphries

David Livingston/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Continuing in the tradition that started when exposure on a reality TV show turned into a family business empire, Kim Kardashian is cashing in -- big time -- on her weekend wedding to basketball player Kris Humphries.

Kardashian is being so well paid for her lavish nuptials that she'll end up in the black.

The wedding, held Saturday in Montecito, Calif., cost an estimated $500,000, but according to published reports, the bride was paid $1.5 million by People magazine for exclusive rights to photos of the event.

The magazine apparently paid the pair an additional $300,000 for exclusive rights to pictures of their engagement announcement earlier this year.

And OK! magazine reportedly paid $100,000 for exclusive rights to photos of the bridal shower.

And that's not all. Here are a few other ways the reality TV family is saving and earning on the wedding:

  • The bride wore a $20,000 Vera Wang bridal gown. She didn't pay for it, reports say.
  • Her 20-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring, valued at a reported $2 million, apparently cost the groom a fraction of that.
  • Posh Los Angeles' bakery Hansen's Cakes apparently gave Kardashian and Humphries their $15,000 wedding cake. The cake had 10 layers and decadent frosting, inspired by Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding.

Celebrity event producer Tony Schubert told The Hollywood Reporter that because Kardashian is viewed as a "tastemaker" by so many brides-to-be, many are eager to be associated with her.

The wedding will be broadcast on E!, the network that airs the hit reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, as well as hit spin-offs including her sisters, Kourtney and Khloe.

E! will air Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event Oct. 9 and 10, and the network is expecting it to be a ratings bonanza.

Among the guests were Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, the Williams sisters, Kelly Osbourne and, of course, Humphries' New Jersey Nets teammates.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' Tie the Knot

David Livingston/Getty Images(MONTECITO, Calif.) -- Kim Kardashian and NBA player Kris Humphries have tied the knot.

The 30-year-old reality TV star married the 26-year-old New Jersey Nets player in a lavish ceremony at a private estate in Montecito, Calif., on Saturday.

Kardashian walked down the aisle on the arm of her stepfather, Olympic great Bruce Jenner, wearing an ivory Vera Wang creation, People and E! reported.

The gown was one of two Vera Wang dresses Kardashian was expected to wear on her big day, each with a price tag close to $25,000, according to Life and Style Weekly.

"Her ceremony dress will be a little bit more conservative and more traditional than the dress she will end up wearing for the reception," said Juliette Izon of Life & Style Weekly.

Kardashian was also expected to wear not one, but four pairs of glitzy shoes throughout the ceremony and following festivities.

"Four pairs of Christian Louboutin shoes, every woman's dream," Izon said.

The guest list includes Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, the Williams sisters, Kelly Osbourne, and of course Humphries' New Jersey Nets teammates. But there was some last minute drama with the list.

"Basically she invited too many people and the space couldn't fit it so the fire marshall came in and said you're going to have to narrow your numbers or you can't have your wedding," Izon said.

Guests were expected to be treated to a towering cake by Hansen's, a $15,000 creation with 10 layers and decadent frosting inspired by the real royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Kardashian called in to Ryan Seacrest's radio show Friday to talk about the fact that her late father wouldn't be there to give her away.

"You'll feel I think the presence of my dad, you'll feel love in this room and that's what's going to be the best part of this whole night," Kardashian said on the show.

The event was being recorded by E! Network for a prime time special in October, but no other cameras are allowed.
