'Glee:' Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer Staying?

Kevin Winter/Getty Images(SAN DIEGO) -- Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer aren't leaving Glee after all.

In comments that seem to contradict what Glee creator Ryan Murphy said in a recent interview, series co-creator Brad Falchuk indicates that all three stars will be seen on the Fox hit beyond its upcoming third season, even though their respective characters are set to graduate from high school. Speaking at Comic-Con in San Diego on Sunday, Falchuk said, "They are graduating but because they're graduating doesn't mean they're leaving the show." He said all three are under contract beyond next season.

Earlier this month, The Hollywood Reporter said Michele's Rachel, Colfer's Kurt and Monteith's Finn will not appear on Glee after next season. The story cited Ryan Murphy, who said he wanted the show to be "true to life" by having their characters -- all seniors -- graduate from high school. At Comic-Con, Falchuk allowed that there was "confusion" over Murphy's comments.

Lea Michele, Cory Monteith & Chris Colfer Not Returning to 'Glee'

Jason Kempin/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Looks like this will be the last season for some of Glee's big stars.
Lea Michele's Rachel will be graduating high school. And she'll have some company. Her on-again, off-again boyfriend Finn, played by Cory Monteith, and bullied gay teen Kurt, played by Chris Colfer, will also be leaving.

Show co-creator Ryan Murphy tells The Hollywood Reporter it's only realistic, since the three were sophomores in high school when the Fox show started, and now they'll be seniors.

And as for one of them returning as a teacher or something? He says forget it, they won't be back at all for season four.

The three are arguably the most popular characters on the show.

Jon Bon Jovi to Duet with Lea Michele in New Film

Island Def Jam Music Group(NEW YORK) -- Bon Jovi's song "It's My Life" was performed by the cast of Glee, and now one of those cast members will get to sing with Jon Bon Jovi himself.

Both Jon and Glee's Lea Michele appear in the upcoming star-studded film New Year's Eve.  Director Garry Marshall told that Michele will perform at least two songs in the flick, including a duet with Jon.

"It's quite a number," Marshall said. reports that in the movie, Jon plays a rock star named Jensen, while Michele plays Elise, his back-up vocalist, so it makes sense for them to sing together.

New Year's Eve, the cast of which also includes Robert De Niro, Sarah Jessica Parker, Hillary Swank, Halle Berry and many others, will hit movie theaters Dec. 9.

Fergie, Lea Michele Receive 'Billboard' Honors

Photo Courtesy - Interscope Records(NEW YORK) -- Fergie and Glee star Lea Michele were honored at Billboard magazine's fifth annual Women in Music bash Thursday in New York City, with Fergie receiving the magazine's prestigious Woman of the Year honor.  Michele received the magazine's first ever Triple Threat award, for her singing, dancing, and acting talents.

The Woman of the Year award is given each year to a "trailblazing" female recording artist who has "inspired the music business with her success, leadership, and new ideas."  Fergie told ABC News Radio that for her, the award was more of a culmination of her entire career, and not just a recognition of this past year.

She explained, "I think for me, it means celebrating all of the years that I put in, since I was seven years old in the business...and dreaming about's all those hours of work and jet lag and rehearsal...I feel like I finally made it!"

As for the Triple Threat Award, Billboard editorial director Bill Werde explained that the magazine created it because "Glee kind of rewrote the record books and our charts this year and we really wanted to figure out a way to incorporate that into an event like this."  Werde says Michele received the honor over another female cast member because she's "sung on seven of the top-ten-selling Glee songs" and "it just felt right."

Michele herself said of the honor: "I'm so thankful that they created this award and thought about me for it...I feel so honored."

Glee's Lea Michele Nearly Bares All in Photo Shoot

Photo Courtesy - Kevin Winter/Getty ImagesGlee's Lea Michele is striking quite a few poses in U.K.'s Marie Claire.  In the magazine, the brunette talks about how she used to be insecure about her looks.

"Growing up, I didn't feel I looked like the people around me or acted like the people around me," Michele says. "I always knew in the back of my mind that there was another world outside of that and that I would go there one day and people would accept me for who I was and who I am."

Michele adds, "So many people...would tell me there was no place for me on television.  I wasn't pretty enough...The great thing about Glee is that it gave me a chance and that you don't have to look like how everyone else looks."

In the spread, Michele is pictured wearing a nearly topless boots, undies and tutu combination.
