Week Two of "DWTS: All-Stars" Kicks Off

ABC(LOS ANGELES) -- After Pamela Anderson was eliminated last week, Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars begins its second week of competition Monday night. The celebrities will dance either the jive or the quickstep.
Former champ Shawn Johnson will be doing the jive, though she's not really looking forward to it. She tells ABC News Radio the dance is "extremely fast and tiring....I don't like the jive."
Kirstie Alley will also be tackling the jive, which she concedes was one of her worst dances the last time she competed on the show. She says, "I am learning to love it because I have to."
Another story line to watch for on Monday night: Drew Lachey attempting to bounce back after falling into the bottom two last week. His partner, Anna Trebunskaya, says, "We're going to bring the special Drew. He has maybe the biggest heart out of everybody."
It's also the second week of Dancing with the Stars' new points system, under which the judges can award both whole points and half points to competitors. Pro dancers Mark Ballas, Tony Dovolani and Louis Van Amstel all support the new system because it helps to better define which celebrities are the best.
Ballas says, "It'll be interesting and it'll definitely shake up the scoreboards more and not everything will be so tight, I guess."
Monday's performance show will air on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

Chelsea Kane at a Disadvantage Going into 'Dancing with the Stars' Finale

ABC, Inc.(LOS ANGELES) -- Only three celebrities remain on Dancing with the Stars: Chelsea Kane, Kirstie Alley and Hines Ward. They will each perform two dances on Monday as they vie for the Mirror Ball trophy, which will be awarded the following night.

Kane says she and partner Mark Ballas are behind the eight ball because he's been ill lately. She says, "We ended up getting really behind schedule in our dances, and didn't have our freestyle even fully choreographed until Saturday night, and just started running it on Sunday. So we're going into [Monday's] performance I feel a couple of days behind the rest of the competitors."
