Lindsay Lohan’s Hawaiian Vacation Approved by Probation Officer: Report

Toby Canham/Getty Images(HONOLULU) -- Lindsay Lohan is in Hawaii on a beach vacation approved by her probation officer, according to TMZ.

According to the terms of her probation, Lohan is allowed to travel, but only with permission from her probation officer.

Lohan’s probation officer was apparently impressed by the fact that she is ahead of schedule in her court-ordered morgue duty and psychotherapy sessions, sources told TMZ.

Lindsay Lohan had hoped to reveal her first-ever Playboy cover during an appearance next week on “The Ellen Degeneres Show,” but as with most things Lohan, this, too, did not go according to plan.

The sexy cover shot was leaked online Tuesday on the website The Insider.com. It shows Lohan, in just a pair of black heels, straddling a red plastic chair in the shape of Playboy’s iconic bunny to strategically cover her up. The “Mean Girls” actress runs her hands through her long blond cascading hair.

Lohan will offer a more detailed look when she sits down with Degeneres Dec. 15, which will be her first media appearance since she served 4½ hours in jail for violating her probation.

Her appearance comes just before of the January/February issue of the men’s magazine hitting newsstands.

Lindsay Lohan Returns to Morgue; Father Is Released from Jail

Mark Boster-Pool/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Lindsay Lohan was back on duty at a Los Angeles morgue Wednesday, two days after she participated in a Playboy photo shoot.

Her rep tells RadarOnline.com the Mean Girls star arrived 20 minutes early to the Los Angeles County coroner's office.

Lohan had intended to begin her job at the morgue last Thursday, but she was turned away after showing up 40 minutes late.  She performed community service there the next day, but she notified the office on Monday that she wouldn't be coming in that day.

The actress, whose probation in her shoplifting case was revoked last week, is required to work a total of 32 hours at the morgue prior to a Nov. 2 hearing.

On the other side of the country, Lohan's father, Michael Lohan, was released from a Tampa, Fla., jail on Wednesday evening after making a court appearance earlier in the day in connection with a domestic battery charge, according to Tampa Bay's TBO.com.

Speaking with reporters, he denied allegations that he attacked his on-again, off-again partner, Kate Major, saying, "Kate knows what happened.  I know what happened.  I didn't lay a hand on her."

Bail had been set at $5,000.

Did Lindsay Lohan Skip on Community Service to Pose for 'Playboy'?

Stephen Dunn/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Lindsay Lohan on Monday didn't show up to the Los Angeles morgue where she was ordered to perform community service.  So what was she up to?

She may have been participating in a photo shoot for Playboy, according to E! News.  She was seen visiting a Beverly Hills mansion for the rumored shoot.

TMZ.com says Lohan is shooting a nude photo spread for Playboy and will be paid somewhere between $750,000 and $1 million.

The Mean Girls star's rep tells E! News he can "neither confirm nor deny" the Playboy speculation.

A rep for the magazine tells E! News, "We don't comment on rumors about who may or may not be posing for the magazine...if anything changes, I'll be sure to let you know."

Lindsay Lohan’s Cupcake Quest Thwarted by Morgue

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(LOS ANGELES) -- Lindsay Lohan‘s sweet gesture turned into one hot mess.

According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, after successfully arriving Friday morning to complete the first of the 32 hours of community service she’s required to do before Nov. 2, Lohan ordered cupcakes for her fellow laborers and the morgue’s staff.

A spokesperson for the coroner’s office told ABC News that a delivery man from Magnolia Bakery, the sweets emporium made famous by Sex and the City, showed up at the morgue Friday with 36 cupcakes. But officials turned him away because community service workers are “not there to accept food” and Lohan was told such sugary tactics “won’t be tolerated.”

Lohan’s rep, Steve Honig, told a different story to ABC News, saying Lohan “bought everyone lunch” Friday “because she felt so bad about the misunderstanding yesterday.” (The coroner’s office said no lunch was served.) Lohan was unable to perform her scheduled community service Thursday because she couldn’t figure out how to enter the morgue.

Honig said he could not comment on the cupcake reports.

On Wednesday, L.A. Superior Court Judge Stephanie Saunter told the 25-year-old actress to complete 32 hours of community service at the morgue by her Nov. 2 probation hearing. Lohan’s probation stemming from her January shoplifting case was revoked Wednesday.
