Eva Longoria Confirms She’s Dating Jets QB Mark Sanchez

ABC/RON TOM(NEW YORK) -- Eva Longoria has confirmed that she is dating New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez — but only after a little prodding from her friend, Extra host Mario Lopez.

During a segment on Thursday’s edition of Extra, Lopez asked the former Desperate Housewives star about a recent New York Post report that she was spotted with Sanchez.

After Longoria jokingly called Lopez an “a**hole,” she said, “Mark and I are, you know, fine. We’re happy just dating.”

Longoria, 37, has just completed filming the upcoming movies Long Time Gone and The Truth. She was previously linked to Penelope Cruz’s brother Eduardo Cruz earlier this year.

Sanchez, 25, played college football at the University of Southern California, and was drafted in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft.

Kim Kardashian Denies Dating New York Jets Quarterback

Don Arnold/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- While the New York Giants are making headlines with their Super Bowl victory, Kim Kardashian is denying rumors that she's dating a New York football star, who's not part of the celebration.

The reality TV star took to Twitter late last week to deny a rumor that she's romantically involved with New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez.

She tweeted on Friday, “Dating rumors are always fun when you don’t even know the people [you’re] supposedly linked to. Who makes this stuff up?”

Sources close to Kardashian tell TMZ.com that her 2010 split from Miami Dolphins' Reggie Bush was so rough that she lost her taste for NFL players entirely. The source says Kardashian has no plans to play the field in the near future.

Sanchez has also been linked to actress Hayden Panettiere last summer. That turned out to be another false romantic rumor for the 25-year-old quarterback.

Woman in Brett Favre Scandal Speaks Out

Hunter Martin/Philadelphia Eagles/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Jenn Sterger, the former New York Jets game-day hostess and model who was embroiled in a tabloid scandal after racy photos and voicemails allegedly from NFL quarterback Brett Favre surfaced, tells ABC News in an exclusive interview that she just wanted to do her job.

"I haven't made a dime off anything in this whole situation. Not from the pictures. Not from Favre. I never wanted to sue anyone. That was never an intention of mine," she said.

"I'm not a gold-digger," she said. "The only way I wanted to make my money this whole time was to just have a job."

Favre -- a three-time MVP with more than $7 million in endorsements -- became known for more than his playing in October 2010, when the sports blog Deadspin.com posted voicemails and nude pictures Favre allegedly sent to Sterger when he played for the Jets in 2008. Favre has admitted to leaving the voicemails but not to sending inappropriate pictures of himself.

The NFL did not conclude that Favre sent the messages, but fined him $50,000 in December 2010, reprimanding him for not being "candid in several respects during the investigation, resulting in a longer review and additional negative public attention," the league said.

Sterger says the ordeal has turned her life "upside down."

"You know, I was trying to go to work. Do my job," she said. "But how are you supposed to report on the news when you are the news? It was tough. It was embarrassing. It was humiliating. All I wanted to do was go to work. Do my job. That's all I wanted."

The full interview with Sterger will air on Tuesday and Wednesday on ABC’s Good Morning America, and on Tuesday night on Nightline.
