Nicole Kidman Reflects on Marriage with Tom Cruise

Charles Eshelman/FilmMagic(NEW YORK) -- Nicole Kidman speaks about her 10-year-long marriage to Tom Cruise in the Winter 2012 issue of DuJour magazine.

Kidman says that in 1990, when they married, she was "totally smitten" with Cruise.  She notes, "I would have gone to the ends of the earth for him."

The now 45-year-old actress admits that back then she was very "impulsive and naïve," and all the attention she and Cruise received as a celebrity couple made them feel isolated.

She explains, "We were in a bubble, just the two of us.  We became very dependent on one another."

When they ended their relationship in 2000, she says, "It took me a very long time to heal.  It was a shock to the system."

Today, Kidman is married to country star Keith Urban, and the pair have two daughters together.

Kidman says of Urban, "He is a wonderful, caring man and he makes me feel secure.  We don't ever like to be separated."

Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- It seems Katie Holmes isn't alone in wanting to move on.

Tom Cruise was back on the set of his upcoming film, Oblivion, the day after his quick divorce settlement, but he wasn't wearing his wedding ring, People magazine reports.  His soon-to-be ex was first seen sans ring on July 2 while filming Project Runway: All Stars.

Cruise, 50, agreed to a settlement with Holmes, 33, on Monday after the actress filed for divorce on June 28.  The couple have been married for five years.

Meanwhile, one of Cruise's exes has reportedly been helping Holmes through her split.  Nicole Kidman has "offered her support and help," a source tells Us Weekly.

"Nicole has been supportive, saying she's been through it too and to hang in there," the source adds of the friendship, which apparently has existed since 2006.  "She has been a private friend not many people know about."

Kidman divorced Cruise in 2001.  They have two kids, Isabella, 19, and Connor, 17.

Keith Urban Opens Up about Addiction, Rehab on 'Oprah'

Photo Courtesy - Capitol Nashville(CHICAGO) -- Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show Monday, and Urban opened up about his decision to go to rehab back in 2006.  Describing his life as unmanageable, he credits Kidman for helping open his eyes to the problem.  He'd been in treatment for substance abuse twice before and recognized the signs of his addiction.

Urban admitted he was abusing cocaine and alcohol before going into treatment, but he tells Winfrey, "It wouldn't have mattered what it was.  It was a hole in my life that was gonna be filled by the right thing eventually, or it was going to always be filled by the wrong thing."

Urban says he wouldn't have blamed Kidman if she'd walked out on him, but she staged an intervention for him instead.  He says, "I couldn't do this just for her, but to see love in action to that degree at that time in that way, I've never experienced anything like that."  Urban has now been clean for four years.

In addition to the interview, Urban also performed his latest single "Put You in a Song" on the show with Winfrey and Kidman singing along on the front row.  It's the lead release from his latest album, Get Closer.´╗┐
