Paris Hilton's Boyfriend Charged with Assault

Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images(LAS VEGAS) -- Paris Hilton's boyfriend was arrested early Monday after he allegedly assaulted another man at a Las Vegas nightclub.

According to, the boyfriend of the "other woman" filed a police report claiming 21-year-old Viiperi punched him in the face after Paris made out with his girlfriend at the XS nightclub at the Encore hotel. The alleged victim says he required medical attention for injuries he suffered.

Paris Hilton Apologizes: ‘Gay People Are the Strongest’

Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Paris Hilton issued an apology Thursday after audio of her making derogatory comments about gay people was posted online.

In the recording, Hilton is heard saying gay people are “disgusting” and “most of them probably have AIDS.”

“Gay people are the strongest and most inspiring people I know,” the socialite said in an apology to GLAAD Thursday. “It is so wrong when people bully or put down others for being gay. No one should have to go through that.”

“As anyone close to me knows, I always have been and always will be a huge supporter of the gay community. I am so sorry and so upset that I caused pain to my gay friends, fans and their families with the comments heard this morning,” Hilton said. “I was having this private conversation with a friend of mine who is gay and our conversation was in no way towards the entire gay community. It is the last thing that I would ever want to do and I cannot put into words how much I wish I could take back every word.”

“HIV/AIDS can hurt anyone, gay and straight, men and women,” she said. “It’s something I take very seriously and should not have been thrown around in conversation.”

While riding in a New York City cab last week, Hilton and an openly gay friend were talking about a smartphone app Grindr, which allows gay men to meet and hook up.

“Ew, ew,” Hilton says on the recording when told about Grindr. “Gay guys are the horniest people in the world,” she continues. “They’re disgusting. Dude, most of them probably have AIDS … I would be so scared if I was a gay guy. You’ll like, die of AIDS.”

The cab driver recorded the conversation, which RadarOnline obtained and posted Thursday.

Paris Hilton Releases Video for New Song, 'Drunk Text'

Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Once upon a time, Paris Hilton became a recording artist, releasing the album Paris, featuring the dance single “Stars Are Blind,” in 2006. She hadn’t been very productive as a musician in subsequent years, but her comeback is now in full swing with the debut of her video for “Drunk Text.” Yes, the title of her new song is “Drunk Text.”

Paris doesn’t really sing on the track as much as she talks over techno music. The 31-year-old socialite basically delivers a stream-of-consciousness speech on ridiculous texts that people send while drunk. She laments, “My mouth kept pouring desperate clauses of random intent.”

Perhaps the most memorable lyrics from “Drunk Text”: “You take the word ‘sex’ and mix it with ‘texting.’ It’s called ‘sexting.’ But when you add ‘drunk sexting,’ the words just don’t make sense.’”

Not surprisingly, the song has been mocked online. Gawker’s reaction was simply, “Well, this is very awful.”

Paris is planning to release an album later this year.

Paris Hilton Completes Probation in Las Vegas Drug Case

Robert Marquardt/FilmMagic(LAS VEGAS) -- Paris Hilton has completed her one year of probation stemming from a Las Vegas drug case that also involved her then-boyfriend, Cy Waits.

According to the Las Vegas Sun, her attorney provided documentation at a Vegas court hearing Tuesday that showed the socialite performed more than 200 hours of community service and paid $2,000 in fines.

Hilton pleaded guilty last September to drug possession and obstructing an officer, less than a month after she and Waits were stopped by police after an officer reported that their car smelled of marijuana.  Police said cocaine later fell out of Hilton's purse.

Waits, whose relationship with Hilton reportedly ended in June, pleaded no contest last month to misdemeanor driving under the influence of marijuana.

Paris Hilton's Ex Reaches Plea Deal in Las Vegas Arrest

Robert Marquardt/FilmMagic(LAS VEGAS) -- Paris Hilton's ex-boyfriend, Cy Waits, appears to have reached a plea deal in connection with their arrest in Las Vegas last year.

The Las Vegas Sun reports Waits' attorney told a Las Vegas judge Monday morning that the matter "has been resolved."  The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Waits, who did not appear in court, faces a felony charge of being under the influence of marijuana and misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession and driving under the influence.  The 35-year-old former nightclub mogul is expected to appear at his next hearing on Wednesday.

Waits and Paris were arrested in Vegas last August after their car was stopped because, police said at the time, it smelled of marijuana.  Paris, who allegedly was caught with cocaine, later pleaded guilty to drug possession and obstructing an officer.  She was sentenced to one year of probation.

Paris and Waits reportedly split in June.

Paris Hilton Walks Out on ABC News Interview

ABC News(LOS ANGELES) -- Paris Hilton may be the original celebutante -- a pioneer of the thoroughly modern phenomenon of being famous for being famous. But for all of her beauty, early success and entertainment industry experience, the young heiress who was born into one of the world's largest hotel empires can still be jarred by reporters who ask her sensitive questions.

Such was the case when she walked out of ABC News interview that took place at her newly renovated Los Angeles home this week when she was asked if she thinks she may be past her prime. After storming off, Hilton eventually returned to the interview after some cajoling to discuss her ideas about her own reinvention.

"I've been doing this for 15 years now, so it's been a long time … so just like any other business person or someone in the industry, it's always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects," she said.

From New York party girl to reality TV personality on the Fox series The Simple Life, and now the head of a billion-dollar personal empire, Hilton has certainly kept busy for a girl born into the lap of luxury. She now has stores in 31 countries, selling everything from perfumes to shoes to handbags to beauty products. She's even slapped her name on a motorcycle racing team.

"So many people that are rich do nothing," Hilton said. "I like being able to do what I want, to buy whatever I want, and to not ask for permission like some of my other friends who are adults but live like children."

While others may have usurped her role at the top of the reality television pecking order -- her latest series, The World According to Paris debuted to a dismal 400,000 viewers on the Oxygen Network – Hilton has had to deal with a terrifying phenomenon plaguing celebrities: stalkers.

James Brian Rainford was arrested outside Hilton's home on the Fourth of July. Rainford is the same man who attacked her now ex-boyfriend in April outside of a courthouse -- where Hilton was to testify against another stalker.

"It's very unsettling, because you don't know what frame of mind someone like that is in. Now four times he has tried to get in contact with me," Hilton said. "He's keeps getting in trouble for it, yet he keeps coming back, so obviously there's something wrong with him."

Hilton, who turned 30 in February, is eager now to show the world that she has now grown up. Yet The World According to Paris shows her engaged in her usual hi-jinks -- inhabiting an ecosystem where paparazzi are as omnipresent as pigeons in Manhattan, and where shopping is the dominant form of hunting and gathering.

Hilton even made a revealing and unusually candid admission about her on screen persona -- that when she is not on camera her voice drops, and she is much more serious.

"It's the character that I developed for The Simple Life. They wanted a character that was an airhead with a baby voice, and so that's a character that I do, and I had to do it for five seasons," she said. "And so sometimes when I'm on camera I'll revert back to it, just because I'm so used to it because I did it for so long."

She defends her behavior on the show as mere entertainment and part of the world of reality television.

The finale of the show's first season airs Wednesday.
