(LONDON) -- Actor Pete Postlethwaite has reportedly died at the age of 64. The BBC quotes a family spokesperson as saying the actor died "peacefully" on Sunday after a lengthy, unspecified illness.
Postlethwaite's best-known film roles to U.S. audiences include Mr. Kobayashi, assistant to Keyser Söze in the 1995 film The Usual Suspects. The year before, he was nominated for an Oscar for his work in In the Name of the Father.
He was most recently seen in the movie The Town.
