Jessica Simpson’s Pregnancy Glow Is Really Sweat

Alo Ceballos/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Jessica Simpson has a thing about bodily functions: she loves talking about them.

And pregnancy has given the pop singer yet another reason to overshare. Simpson recently revealed to People magazine that pregnancy makes her sweat.

“People always say that pregnant women have a glow,” Simpson, 31, told People. “And I say it’s because you’re sweating to death."

“I think they just tell pregnant women they’re glowing to make them feel good about themselves, because everything makes them a little bit emotional.”

Simpson is clearly blooming as she displayed her bump in a figure-hugging red dress for the Footwear News Achievement Awards Tuesday.

Since announcing her pregnancy on Halloween with a photo of herself dressed as a mummy and the tweet, “It’s true -- I’m going to be a mummy,” Simpson has been eagerly sharing details of her pregnancy via Twitter.

On Nov. 4, she retweeted a post about how the average person “expels flatulence 15 times each day,” adding, “The average pregnant woman farts 15 times that!”

A few days later, she posted a picture of herself in a new Cavalli dress and declared, “My belly is officially bigger than my boobs..well kinda…ha.”

And just before Thanksgiving, she tweeted, "Sunday morning cereal craving,” along with a photo of five cereal boxes on the supermarket checkout counter.

We’ve also heard plenty about her hormones.

Explaining why she is putting off her wedding to fiance and father-to-be Eric Johnson, Simpson told Access Hollywood,  “When you’re pregnant, your hormones go crazy. I don’t want to be super stressed out and end up being a bridezilla. So, I’ll wait until after.”

Last year, Simpson revealed that she brushes her teeth “maybe three times a week.”

“My teeth are so white and I don’t like them to feel too slippery but I do use Listerine and I do floss everyday,” she told Ellen DeGeneres. “But I don’t brush them every day....My lips just slide all over the place...I can’t catch up with my mouth. I need a little coating.”

“I know it’s gross but I always have fresh breath,” she laughed. “It’s really weird but I have great breath.”

Did Baby Fever Come Between January Jones and Jason Sudeikis?

Jordan Strauss/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- We may not know who the father of January Jones' baby is, but it's likely a safe bet it's not Jason Sudeikis.  A source close to the Mad Men actress said Jones' desire to have a baby caused a rift with the Saturday Night Live star while they dated, reports Us Weekly

The source said, "If Jason were the dad, he'd step it up."  The insider also said Sudeikis was never really into starting a family, explaining, "She told him she wanted kids and it turned him off.  Jason was bummed out she was on the mommy track."

Jones, who revealed last week she's pregnant, hasn't disclosed the father's identity.  It's also unclear if her pregnancy will be written into any Mad Men story line.

Kate Hudson: Bring on the Baby

GABRIEL BOUYS/AFP/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Kate Hudson is ready for baby number two.  The Oscar-nominated actress, who's expecting a child with Muse singer Matthew Bellamy, says she's more prepared for this bundle of joy than she was when she gave birth seven years ago to her son, Ryder, reports Us Weekly

Hudson, who won't reveal her due date, said, "This time I'm actually set up.  Whereas before with Ryder, I didn't even have a nursery.  I didn't really have a house until I was seven months pregnant.  This time it feels like I actually got to paint a nursery.

Hudson also says Ryder -- whom she had with Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson -- is looking forward to the new addition to the family.  She said, "He's really enjoying it.  He likes making fun of me.  He's like, 'You're huge,' and all that kind of stuff.  He's very protective, Ryder is."
