Final "Twilight" Movie Wins Seven Razzies

Summit Pictures(LOS ANGELES) -- The fifth and final Twilight movie was named worst picture Saturday night at the 33rd Annual Razzie Awards, recognizing what it believes to be the least enjoyable films of the past year.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2, which entered the ceremony with 11 nominations, earned seven awards total.  Kristen Stewart was given the prize for worst actress, and Taylor Lautner picked up the awards for worst supporting actor and worst screen couple, for his performance alongside 12-year-old Mackenzie Foy.

In addition, the entire Twilight cast took the worst screen ensemble category.

Adam Sandler, whose comedy Jack & Jill won 10 awards at the 2012 ceremony, received the title of worst actor for the second year in a row, this time for That’s My Boy.

Pop star Rihanna was named worst supporting actress for her role in Battleship.

The Razzie winners were announced in Los Angeles, on the eve of the Oscars.

Razzies Awards 2013 Honor the Worst Actors, Films of the Year

Summit Pictures(LOS ANGELES) -- As Hollywood prepares for Sunday's Academy Awards to recognize the best of the best, another set of awards will be handed out on Saturday for the worst of the worst.

The Golden Raspberry Awards, more commonly known as the Razzies, honor the worst actors and films of the year.

They are meant to be an Oscar spoof, as they are revealed the day before the big show.

This year's nominees for "Worst Picture of the Year" are Battleship, The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure, That's My Boy, A Thousand Words and the final installment of the Twilight series, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2.

At last year's Razzies, Adam Sandler's film Jack & Jill set a record by taking home 10 Razzies, causing many to wonder if his film That's My Boy will sweep again this year.

The fifth and final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn -- Part 2, received 11 nominations. The film's up for worst picture, and stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene are nominated in acting categories.

Final "Twilight" Film Leads Razzie Nominees

Summit Entertainment(NEW YORK) -- The Twilight franchise has been given a rude sendoff from the Razzie Awards, which annually "honors" the worst in film.

The fifth and final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn -- Part 2, on Tuesday night received a leading 11 nominations for the 33rd Annual Razzie Awards, including in the worst picture category.  Stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene are nominated in acting categories.

The other nominees for worst picture are the Adam Sandler comedy That's My Boy, the Eddie Murphy comedy A Thousand Words, the board game adaptation Battleship, and the kiddie film The Oogieloves in The BIG Balloon Adventure.

That's My Boy ranks second with a total of eight nominations.

The Razzies revealed its list about 30 hours before the Oscar nominees are scheduled to be announced.  The winners will be named on Feb. 23, the day before the Academy Awards ceremony.

Razzie Awards Pushed Back to April Fool's Day

Karl Larsen/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- The Golden Raspberry Awards -- better known to you as the Razzies -- will forgo tradition this year by holding its ceremony after the Oscars.  The 32nd Annual Razzies, honoring the worst in film in 2011, will be held on Sunday, April 1, to coincide with April Fool's Day. The nominees will be announced Saturday, February 25, the day before the Academy Awards.

In past years, the Razzie nominations have been announced the day before the Academy reveals its nominees. The Razzies ceremony was typically held on the eve of the Oscars.

'The Last Airbender' the Big 'Winner' at Razzie Awards

Photo Courtesy - Paramount Pictures(LOS ANGELES) -- On the eve of the Oscars, M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender was named the year's worst film at the 31st Annual Golden Raspberry Awards Saturday night.

The movie, which was adapted from the hit Nickelodeon cartoon, won five Razzies at the Hollywood ceremony, including worst picture, worst director, worst screenplay, and worst supporting actor for star Jackson Rathbone.  Rathbone was also cited for his performance in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which tied The Last Airbender with nine nominations but only received the one award.

Sex and the City 2 was awarded three Razzies, including worst actress and worst screen couple or ensemble.  Both of those titles were shared by stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon.

Ashton Kutcher and Jessica Alba each earned acting awards for multiple films.

'Eclipse,' 'The Last Airbender' Lead Razzie Award Nominees

Photo Courtesy - Summit Entertainment(LOS ANGELES) -- The Twilight Saga: Eclipse was one of the top movies of 2010 for teenagers, but one of the worst movies of the past year for the Razzie Awards.

The film received nine nominations Monday morning for this year's Razzie Awards, which recognizes what it declares is the worst in film.  Among its nominations, Eclipse is a contender for worst picture, worst actor for Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner and worst actress for Kristen Stewart.

The M. Night Shyamalan film The Last Airbender also scored nine nominations, including nods for worst director and worst screenplay.

The notable names who received nominations for their acting include Jennifer Aniston, for The Bounty Hunter and The Switch; Jack Black, for Gulliver's Travels; Ashton Kutcher, for Killers and Valentine's Day; Miley Cyrus and her dad Billy Ray Cyrus, for The Last Song and The Spy Next Door, respectively; Cher, for Burlesque; Barbra Streisand, for Little Fockers; and the four main stars of Sex and the City 2.

The 31st Annual Golden Raspberry Awards will be presented in Hollywood on Feb. 26 -- per tradition, on the eve of the Oscars ceremony.
