'Saw 3D' Tops Halloween Weekend Box Office 

Photo Courtesy - Lionsgate Entertainment(NEW YORK) -- Jigaw’s return in Saw 3D debuted as the number-one movie over the Halloween weekend, with an estimated $24.2 million in ticket sales.

The previous box office champion, Paranormal Activity 2, fell to second place with $16.5 million in estimated revenue, according to Variety.  The Bruce Willis/Morgan Freeman action flick Red was third, with $10.8 million in estimated revenue, while Jackass 3D finished in fourth with $8.4 million.

Here are the top 10 movies from Friday through Sunday, with estimated ticket sales:

1. Saw 3D, $24.2 million.
2. Paranormal Activity 2, $16.5 million.
3. Red, $10.8 million.
4. Jackass 3D, $8.4 million.
5. Hereafter, $6.3 million.
6. Secretariat, $5.1 million.
7. The Social Network, $4.7 million.
8. Life as We Know It, $4 million.
9. The Town, $2 million.
10. Conviction, $1.8 million.

'Saw 3D' Debuts Nationwide Friday

Photo Courtesy- Lionsgate Entertainment(NEW YORK) -- The seventh and final Saw film buzzes into theaters this Friday, just in time for Halloween.  Saw 3D finds survivors of the late Jigsaw's deadly mind games putting themselves in further danger when they reach out to a fellow survivor who's a self-help guru.

Tobin Bell, Cary Elwes and Sean Patrick Flanery star in the R-rated horror flick -- the only movie opening in wide release. 

Tobin Bell, who reprises his role of the villainous Jigsaw, says he admires horror fans because they're passionate about the genre.
