Ke$ha Dismisses Misconceptions, Admits to Being 'Kissing Slut'

Photo by Frazer Harrison/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- We're used to seeing Ke$ha running covered in glitter with no pants, but she looks like a clean-cut college girl on the cover of SELF magazine's July issue, with light makeup, neon-green hooded sweatshirt and black workout shorts.  Inside, the singer dismisses many of the misconceptions about her, like the fact that people think she's a perpetually-drunk sex maniac.

Discussing the fact that she hands out condoms with her face on them at her concerts, Ke$ha tells SELF, "I think every girl should invest in a condom with her face on it -- it's super awkward and hilarious.  But people think because I hand out condoms, I must be some sort of ho.  That's not the case."

"I'm a little bit of a kissing slut," she continues. "But usually, I just make out and run away."

Ke$ha also says that despite her party-girl reputation, she works hard to keep fit and healthy, and you can certainly see the results in the magazine's photo spread. "People think I sit around and drink whiskey all day, but I couldn't keep up a three-month tour if I were getting hammered every night," she points out. "Training for a tour is like training for a marathon."

Ke$ha says her fitness routine includes running, rock climbing, biking, swimming, yoga and circuit training, and that "Eighty percent of the time, I watch my portions and eat veggies and lean protein."

"I...want to look good when I'm nearly naked onstage in front of thousands of people," she tells SELF about her workout goals. "I'd prefer it to be a pleasant experience when people look at me...I don't have the best body in the world, but I choose to celebrate it."

John Travolta Accused of Sexual Battery in Lawsuit

Ryan Pierse/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- John Travolta has been accused in a lawsuit of assault and sexual battery for allegedly attempting to have sex with a masseur.  The $2 million lawsuit was brought by a masseur identified only as John Doe.

The complaint alleges that Travolta touched his private parts in front of the masseur after removing his pants.  The lawsuit says he subsequently apologized, but then allegedly floated the idea of having sex with the masseur, as well as the two of them having sex with a "Hollywood starlet in the building that wanted to have three-way sex and to be double penetrated."

Travolta, who is currently married to actress Kelly Preston, also allegedly stated that he enhanced his career by performing sexual favors during the time he starred on the TV series Welcome Back, Kotter.

Travolta's camp has released a statement in response to the lawsuit, calling it "complete fiction and fabrication."

The statement contends that Travolta was not in the same state as the masseur on the day in question.  It concludes, "John intends to get this case thrown out and then he will sue the attorney and plaintiff for malicious prosecution."

Tim Gunn Hasn’t Had Sex in Almost 30 Years

ABC News(NEW YORK) -- Tim Gunn is making it work without sex. The Project Runway fashion guru revealed Tuesday on ABC’s daytime talk show The Revolution that he hasn’t been between the sheets with anyone for 29 years. That’s fine with him.

“I haven’t had sex in 29 years,” he said. “Do I feel like less of a person for it? No. Not even remotely.”

Gunn, 58, said that his “very personal” reasons for abstinence have to do with an “intense” and psychologically damaging past relationship. “My partner ended it, saying that, quite frankly, he was impatient with my sexual performance,” he said.

Gunn, who is openly gay, also said that the AIDS epidemic prompted him to reevaluate sex. “I think a lot of people simply retreated because they were concerned about their health. I certainly was,” he said. “And I’m happy to be healthy and alive, quite frankly.”

While Gunn said that he’s “a perfectly happy, fulfilled individual,” he’s happy to engage in sex again, as long as the person is right. “I have feelings,” he said. “It’s not as though I’m some barren forest. I don’t want to imply to anyone that I have a mandate that says no sex. I don’t. I don’t know what’s around the corner.”

Shaq Sex Tape Mentioned in Kidnapping, Robbery Case

Christian Petersen/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- A music promoter claims he was kidnapped and robbed by seven gang members who were allegedly on a mission to retrieve a sex tape involving former NBA player Shaquille O'Neal.

The alleged victim, Robert Ross, testified at a preliminary hearing this week that the gang members kidnapped him on the night of the Grammys in February 2008 and demanded that he return a reported sex tape featuring O'Neal.

O'Neal has not been named a defendant in the case. The spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office said that the sex tape doesn't actually exist.

"It was a bluff," spokeswoman Jane Robison told ABC News. "It was part of a financial dispute" between Ross and O'Neal.

Ross told O'Neal through a third party that he had a sex tape of the basketball player, Robison said. Two weeks later, Ross was allegedly robbed and kidnapped by members of the Main Street Mafia Crips Gang.

Ross was once a member of the same gang, but was working as a music promoter at the time of the altercation, prosecutors said. He reportedly referred artists to O'Neal's record label.

Ladell Rowles allegedly led six other gang members in tracking Ross down in West Hollywood, Calif., on the night of the Grammys. Ross was allegedly forced at gunpoint to drive his Rolls Royce to Rowles' home. Rowles allegedly asked Ross for the sex tape and stole his diamond chain, Rolex watch, diamond earrings, and $15,000 in cash, according to the criminal complaint.

Robison would not comment on whether investigators had interviewed O'Neal. Attempts to reach O'Neal were unsuccessful.

Ross testified that the he and O'Neal were friends and that the ball player used his home to bring women home for liaisons while he was still married to wife Shaunie O'Neal. Prosecutors claimed Monday that at one time Ross dated Shaunie O'Neal.

It's unclear if O'Neal has any connection to gang leader Rowles.
