(LOS ANGELES) -- Tom Cruise has reportedly converted a guest bedroom at his Beverly Hills home into a refuge so he can snore without disturbing wife Katie Holmes.
Britain’s Daily Mail reports Cruise and other Hollywood stars are investing in soundproof bedrooms -- so-called “snoratoria” rooms -- where they can snore in peace. Shortly after the couple married, it was reported that the two sometimes slept in separate rooms because of the actor’s snoring.
A visitor to Cruise’s home tells the newspaper, “Whoever uses the snoring room cannot be heard outside the locked door. It’s very small, comfortable and dark, maybe a former nursery.”
Hollywood real estate agent Pierre Stooss tells the Mail snoratoria are growing in popularity, adding, “Sometimes it just starts as a temporary measure, but then word spreads and now everyone with the space wants one.”
