(LOS ANGELES) -- Dennis Quaid was pulled over by cops in Hollywood on Saturday but was found to be sober following a stop sign violation, according to TMZ.
The 58-year-old actor was pulled over in Marina del Rey but was found not to be under the influence of alcohol by local law enforcement officers following a field sobriety test.
Quaid, whose most recent films include G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Soul Surfer and the Footloose remake and who battled drug and alcohol addictions in the past, was sent on his way without so much as a ticket, according to TMZ.
