(NEW YORK) -- It's hard to believe that it's been a decade since Alicia Keys first burst onto the scene with her Grammy-winning debut album, Songs in A Minor. It first arrived in stores on June 5, 2001.
Now, Keys is marking that milestone by releasing a special 10th anniversary edition of the album on June 28 that will feature previously unreleased tracks and bonus material.
The re-release will come in two versions: a Deluxe Edition two-disc set and a Collector's Edition three-disc set. Both come with special packaging and an enhanced booklet with new liners notes from Keys, but the Collector's Edition also includes a new documentary about the making of the multi-platinum disc.
In a statement, Keys said, "It’s incredibly surreal for me to be celebrating the 10th anniversary...This album is possibly the most precious to me, as your first album only happens once, and so Songs in A Minor will always hold a special place in my life that’s filled with amazing memories."
"I’m crazy excited to share, through the 10th anniversary edition, songs never heard before, and even more of my debut album with you," she added.
Keys will further mark the occasion by doing an intimate concert at New York City's Beacon Theater for her fans on June 30. Tickets will go on sale May 6 for the show, which is called "Piano & I: A One Night Only Event with Alicia Keys."
Keys will also perform on the BET Awards on June 26.
