(ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.) -- Pop star Avril Lavigne let out some not-so family-friendly words during a public appearance following a Tampa Bay Rays baseball game Saturday.
Lavigne was reportedly scheduled to perform at a post-game concert at Tropicana Field, where she became the subject of boos from the crowd after having technical difficulties with her microphone, according to the St. Petersburg Times. Lavigne reacted to the boos by letting a few expletives fly, directed towards those who were booing.
The stadium’s public announcer later apologized to the audience for the singer’s foul language.
