Kelsey Grammer Gets Wife’s Name Tattooed on His Hip

Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic(CHICAGO) -- Kelsey Grammer has been married four times, but his current wife is the first one to get her name tattooed on his body.

The Chicago Sun Times reports Grammer and his wife of 14 months, Kayte Wash, showed up unannounced Saturday at Insight Studios, a Chicago tattoo parlor.

Owner Bob Jones says Grammer got the name "Kayte" inked in half-inch blue letters on his hip at the waistline, and he "was pretty cool about it.”   The tattoo cost $60.

The newspaper says one employee was unaware Grammar was a famous celebrity.  A 21-year-old woman at the front desk asked the former Cheers star for his ID.

She then asked Jones, “Is this guy famous of something?  He looked at me kind of funny when I asked for his ID.”

Grammer can currently be seen playing the mayor of Chicago in the Starz series, Boss.

Samantha Ronson Wants to Ink Lindsay Lohan out of Her Life

Stephen Dunn/Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Lindsay Lohan is no longer part of Samantha Ronson’s life, and a tattoo reminder of her relationship with the actress may soon be gone from Ronson’s left hand.

The New York Post reports Ronson visited a tattoo station at Chicago’s Lollapalooza festival over the weekend and picked an artist’s brain for new ideas, specifically about covering up a tattoo that matches one Lohan has.

A spy tells the newspaper, “Samantha brainstormed ideas for her next tattoo, which will be something on her left hand to cover up the small heart she got in 2008 to match Lindsay’s tattoo.”

The Post says Lohan also attended the festival, but she and Ronson never crossed paths.

Kat Von D Says She's Keeping Jesse James Tattoo

Jordan Strauss/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Kat Von D tells TMZ that despite her split with Jesse James, she will not be removing the tattoo of his face from her body.

Von D told TMZ that she lives her life with "no regrets."

"I love my tattoo.  It's more than just a portrait.  It has a lot of meaning," she added.

The tat is a fifth grade school picture of James.  Von D also has a tattoo of another ex-boyfriend, and she has no plans to get rid of that one either.

Kat Von D Got Tattoo of Jesse James’ Face Before Split

Jordan Strauss/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) -- Jesse James and Kat Von D may no longer be a couple, but she won’t have any problem remembering his face -- it’s tattooed on the left side of her body, RadarOnline reports.

The website obtained a sneak preview of the new season of LA Ink that shows Kat surprising Jesse with a tattoo of him from a photograph when he was a young boy in school.  In the clip, Jesse reacts to the new ink by telling Kat “You’re crazy” before letting her know he loves it.  In a scene that foreshadows the future, Kat says she was nervous about James’ reaction to the tattoo, exclaiming, “I thought you were going to tell me you were breaking up with me.”

The couple broke off their engagement this week, with James telling People magazine, “I’m so sad because I really love her.  The distance between us was just too much.”

The new season of LA Ink debuts July 28, and -- awkwardly -- features Kat sharing her elation after James asked for her hand in marriage.

Tattoo Artist Settles 'Hangover Part II' Lawsuit

Michael Tran/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) -- Warner Bros. has reached a settlement in the lawsuit brought by a tattoo artist who claims the tattoo seen on Ed Helms' face in The Hangover Part II represents copyright infringement.

S. Victor Whitmill argued that he did not grant permission to producers to recreate the tattoo, which he inked exclusively on Mike Tyson's face.

According to E! Online, both sides announced Monday it has resolved the dispute, without going into details. However, the agreement means that the tattoo will not have to be digitally removed from Helms' face for the DVD release of The Hangover Part II.

Tattoo Suit Won't Stall 'Hangover 2' Opening

Michael Tran/FilmMagic(ST. LOUIS) -- A federal judge has ruled that The Hangover: Part II can open in theatres on Thursday, but said a copyright lawsuit over Mike Tyson's face tattoo duplicated in the movie would be allowed to go forward.

A trial opened Monday in St. Louis threatened to stall the film's opening, but experts say the ongoing case could still shed new light on the murky corners of copyright law.

"We are very gratified by the Court's decision which will allow the highly anticipated film, The Hangover: Part II to be released on schedule this week around the world," Warner Brothers, the production company behind the film said in a statement.

In the sequel to the 2009 blockbuster, actor Ed Helms wakes up in Bangkok after a night of heavy drinking with a face tattoo that very closely resembles that of boxer Mike Tyson, who also appears in the film.

Although the film will roll on, so to will the lawsuit, spawning an interesting legal conundrum that sounds like a joke straight out of the upcoming comedy: who owns the tattoo on Mike Tyson's face?

S. Victor Whitmill, the artist who designed the tattoo and who inked Tyson's face in 2003, filed a lawsuit in April at the federal court in St. Louis, arguing that Warner Brothers, the company producing the film, had violated his copyright.

The reproduction of Helms' face amounts to "reckless copyright infringement" according to the suit.

Angelina Jolie on Tunisian Mission; Inks Her Love for Brad

Jason Tanner/UNHCR via Getty Images(NEW YORK) -- Angelina Jolie's current role doesn't involve cameras and a script.  The Oscar-winning actress and United Nations goodwill ambassador jetted off to Tunisia on another mission Tuesday, this time to urge support for a growing refugee crisis in the African country that has been touched off by the conflict in Libya. More than 400,000 people have streamed into Tunisia from Libya since the fighting between Moammar Gadhafi's military and rebel forces began.

"The international community has done well to reinforce Tunisia's remarkable relief effort," Jolie said in a U.N. statement. "But with 2,000 people still crossing each day, we cannot let the funding dry up and need to sustain the momentum." The U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees explained the Jolie-Pitt Foundation has financed the evacuation of 177 people and the purchase of an ambulance.

In Angelina Jolie news of less pressing nature, the actress has added a new tattoo to her collection. Jolie's left bicep contains a set of global navigational coordinates, all of which correspond to the birthplaces of her six children. She has added a seventh line, In Touch magazine reports: the longitude and latitude of Shawnee, Oklahoma, where Brad Pitt was born. The tattoo "signifies family unity," according to the magazine.

Kirstie Alley Gets Tattoo After Stumble on 'Dancing with the Stars'

ABC/ADAM TAYLOR(LOS ANGELES) -- Kirstie Alley's stumble on Monday night's Dancing with the Stars didn't keep her down for long.

TV's Extra reports the actress -- who fell after her partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, lost his footing during their performance due to what he said was a "charley horse" -- got a tattoo on her left wrist of the word "Unbroken" following the show.

Alley tweeted, "Party girl? not so much tonight...BUT I did get a tattoo and I love it....and I had the end this turned into a magical night."

Chmerkovskiy doesn't enjoy the attention he's received because of his mishap.

He told ABC's Good Morning America on Tuesday, "My philosophy is I just wanna be in the background...and I feel like this being the most talked-about moment kinda takes away from Hines [Ward] and from Petra [Nemcova] doing their phenomenal routines, and even from Kirstie, obviously."
