'Teen Mom' Jenelle Evans Busted for Drugs

Brunswick County Sheriff's Dept.(OAK BRANCH, N.C.) -- More trouble for Teen Mom Jenelle Evans. The 19-year-old star of the MTV reality series Teen Mom 2 was arrested Monday for violating her probation after she tested positive for marijuana and opiate use during a meeting with her parole officer in her hometown Oak Branch, N.C.

According to her attorney Dustin Sullivan, Evans also violated her probation by associating with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Kieffer Delp, "a known drug user," on July 16 and Aug. 6.

"She's facing a 45-day active sentence," Sullivan told ABC News. "The judge could put her in jail for 45 days. Up to this point, I've had 12 or 13 charges dismissed. I've never had to have that conversation with her until now."

Sullivan said he has yet to speak to his client since she was placed behind bars on $10,000 bond Monday. He said she was released that night.

Back in April, the teen mom was sentenced to 12 months probation after she pled guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. Evans is due in court August 24.

In March, Evans was charged with simple assault after a video surfaced of her punching a young woman. The woman, Brittany Truett, told ABC News that Evans attacked her in a fit of jealousy because Delp was flirting with Truett. Sullivan told ABC News at that time that his client might have been the victim of a set up.

'Teen Mom 2' Star Leah Messer and Husband Corey Simms Divorcing

Jeffrey Hamilton/Digital Vision/Thinkstock(NEW YORK) -- Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer and husband, Corey Simms, are divorcing just six months after getting married, according to published reports. ´╗┐

Friends of the couple told tabloids that arguments between the two over money and infidelity had taken their toll.

Tabloids reported that the West Virginia-based couple has picked up paperwork to begin divorce proceedings, but those papers have not yet been officially filed.

Messer, 18, and Simms are the parents of two twin girls -- both just over a year old and one with disabilities. Their off-again, on-again relationship was chronicled on the show. They broke up after the twins' birth but reconciled and quickly moved in together and became engaged. They married on the show's finale.

Messer had said she did not want to get divorced after getting married. "Marriage to me is a big commitment. If I took that vow it is going to be forever," she said during a Teen Mom reunion special.

The show has been a hit for MTV and a lightening rod for controversy. Critics have said the show glorifies teen pregnancy. The girls often grace the covers of tabloids right next to movie stars.

Another Teen Mom, Jenelle Evans, was recently arrested after she was captured on tape assaulting a woman at the end of March. Evans, 19, was charged with simple assault and simple affray.

Amber Portwood, 20, another Teen Mom star, is facing domestic abuse charges. She was caught on camera punching and kicking her daughter's father, Gary Shirley, in front of her child.

"These girls are often very impulsive, they don't have good judgment," said expert family therapist Terry Real. "I think it is really critical that grownups around teen moms support them."

MTV had no comment on reports of the divorce but plans to continue the Teen Mom franchise. A spokesman for the network said the program shows the harsh reality of raising a child as young mother.

'Teen Mom 2' Victim Says Jenelle Evans Was in a Jealous Fit

ABC News(OAK BRANCH, N.C.) --  Brittany Truett, the woman punched by Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, says the reality diva attacked her in a fit of jealousy because Evans' sometime boyfriend was flirting with Truett.

Evans, 19, was caught on video punching Truett in her Oak Branch, N.C., hometown. Evans was arrested after the video surfaced and charged with simple assault, ABC Affiliate WWAY reported.

Truett said the fight between the young women was over Evans' on-again, off-again boyfriend Kieffer Delp. Delp was arrested the same day as the fight for cocaine possession.

"He was at my house and hitting on me and she found out about it and called me a liar," Truett said. "I was upset, scared...shocked...the people who came with her brought the cameras to videotape it."

On the tape, after a friend pushes Evans into Truett, Evans throws the first punch. Screams can be heard from Evans' friends encouraging the fight.

Evans eventually pins Truett on the ground, repeatedly punching her in the face. Truett grabs a hold of Evans hair and doesn't let go until one of Evans friend threatens to stomp on her face.

Truett, a teenage mother herself, was left with bruises and pressed charges against Evans.

"She's going to pay for what she did," Truett said.

Truett and the young woman who pushed Evans, Brittany Maggard, were also arrested.

Maggard told she wanted to see a brawl.

Evans' attorney, Dustin Sullivan, told ABC News that his client might be the victim of a set up.

"There are some indicators that Jenelle was set up from the beginning," Sullivan said.

Truett denies those allegations.

"No, it's definitely not [a set-up]...It's not worth it to me for 15 minutes of fame just for being beat up," Truett said.

Truett, a former friend of Evans, said she's seen a change in Evans since she joined MTV's reality show.

Evans, the mother of one-year-old Jace, found reality fame first on MTV's Sixteen and Pregnant and now on Teen Mom 2. Throughout this season of the show, Evans is shown grappling with signing over custody of her son to her mother.

"She used to be a really sweet girl, outgoing, fun to be around...since she's been on the show, she's got a big head and she's been angry at the world," Truett said.

Evans is also facing drug possession and breaking and entering charges from an arrest in January.

In recent weeks, she has escorted her on-again, off-again boyfriend Delp to face assault charges she had previously filed against him.
