Sandra Oh Leaving "Grey's Anatomy" After Upcoming Season

Photo by Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic(NEW YORK) -- Sandra Oh is on the go. She's announced that she will leave Grey's Anatomy after its upcoming 10th season.

The original cast member, who plays Dr. Cristina Yang, tells The Hollywood Reporter, "Creatively, I really feel like I gave it my all, and I feel ready to let her go."

Oh says she informed series creator Shonda Rhimes of her decision at the conclusion of the most recent season. However, she didn't let her co-stars know until Tuesday, when they were reading the script for the show's 200th episode.

How Oh's character will be written off the show remains to be seen.

Grey's Anatomy returns September 26 on ABC.

Ryan Seacrest Tops 'The Hollywood Reporter's' 'Reality Power List'

Jason LaVeris/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) -- Ryan Seacrest is the most powerful person on reality TV -- more powerful than his former colleague and frequent sparring partner on American Idol, Simon Cowell. Seacrest tops the 2011 edition of The Hollywood Reporter's "Reality Power List," which ranks television personalities, producers and executives according to factors such as their reputation and their impact on pop culture. Aside from his hosting duties on Idol, Seacrest is the producer of a number of reality series, most notably the Kardashian sisters' programs on the E! cable network.

Cowell, who was ranked first by The Hollywood Reporter the previous two years, fell to sixth place. No doubt his star will rise again this fall, when Fox premieres the U.S. incarnation of his singing competition The X Factor.
